Here is my take for what it's worth.
We haven't beaten them convincingly for quite sometime. Even when we have We have just found a way.
You could analyse and discuss and argue many theories.
1. They have sussed us out, maybe but that won't win the league. Cups yes league no
2. They are still trophieless, is it more important to win derbies over trophies?
3. These games mean nothing but pride and history won't remember 2 wins or losses in the derbies? Won't affect medals
4. When was last meaningful sorry defining game we lost via them?
5. They raise there game to us and we haven't taken them anymore seriously than Hibs or Dundee as opposed to proper rivals?
6. They are very good at second balls and counter attacking. They conserve energy by waiting and pouncing on second balls. BR didn't respect that and wanted his football philosophy to win over. Wasn't working for Ange towards latter and barely worked for BR.
7. They had a stronger bench we had a wesker one.
To name but a few. Here is the question say we do the treble but lose next derby how does that register?
Secondly how confident or not regarding this completely meaningless match in ration to success is this a factor going forward?
I feel its hard to really draw anything when there is a pattern when it matters we have won. This means nothing going forward ad you still need to earn everything. As dissapointing as it is, it is like losing a game to Dundee or Rss County. Disregarding everything for Derby wins is just media reactionary and on the long haul means little. They will end this season with nothing will you still be emphasising a loss to them come celebration time. If you truly believe we don't need them, then this result is irrelevant a poor loss but no loss of value.
If you believe this is the previous lot and on the basis of this the tide has turned fair enough.
Being up for 4 games wins you nothing but delusional bragging rights. I don't think we should over analyse or be over critical no matter how dissapointed we all felt. I feel to do this is disrespectful to the efforts and pleasure this team have given us all this season. Hail Hail.

It's the manner in which we lost. They have tactically out classed us the last 2 games and nearly in the cup final. They have bullied and out muscled us over the last few games, they also have their press spot on against us. You can see that a mile away that's why we have struggled with our passing game against them of late. I've no doubt they'll win the next derby.
{Ed007's Note - I've no doubt we'll win the next two trophies to complete another Treble and with that and our CL performances apart from Dortmund will make it another fantastic season for Celtic.}

Celtic always win the big games against Sevco and I don’t see that changing.
The last meaningful league victory Sevco have had against Celtic was in August 2021 when Helander scored the only goal at Ibrox.
Every league defeat since, the gap has remained double figures.

There has always been spells over the last 7 or 8 years that we've been hearing various Sevco managers have Celtics number. Remember even Murty getting a draw at Celtic Park and going a few games without losing to us and we were hearing the same guff.
If Celtic had beaten them to cut the gap from 16 to 13 and faced watching them lift another treble I certainly wouldn't be celebrating.
As has been shown various times over the last 10 years its the hope that kills them.

Look they have sussed us out as its not hard too with rodgers one dimensional tactics/ formations. But at the end of the day we had so many of our top players either out or didn't turn up so we were always going to struggle to get a result.
At the end of day, if we have a full team with everyone performing we would blow them away. For me its been a mentality thing this season against them, whether its nerves or complacency. But whatever it is Rodgers needs to sort it out for the next one as our performances against them this season have been an embarrassment and is somewhat tainting what has been an excellent season for us. For me anyway.

When Celtic lose it doesn’t really matter how we lose .
The biggest positive that Celtic have is our Manager BR’s one dimensional approach that has mean’t that Brendan has won every meaningful game between Celtic and the H. ns . and a double or treble every season he has been with us . I a have to say that no domestic game whilst B R has been our manager has embarrassed me .
I certainly won’t get embarrassed by any result against H. ns formed by a con and maintained for years in a method no other club ever tried .
After Sunday’s. game, if there is such a thing as a decent Sevco supporter, I can understand him been embarrassed.

I also don't doubt this Ed but we can't continue to let our standards slip against that lot. It was a meaningles game in terms of the destination of the title but it doesn't excuse such a dire performance.

Most of the teams in the league have us sussed if we continue the suicidal passing from the back at funereal pace! CVV and AJ are becoming bomb scares and Kasper had his worst game in a Celtic jersey, add to that Jeffrey was Shiite. One of our best players was a guy who played 28 minutes this season before Sunday. Could put it down to a bad day but we keep having them against a team that struggles against bottom six SPL, that is a worry if not addressed!

I feel some of the comments are very harsh. Do previous games count for nothing are players now judged on one game. Suddenly players are not good enough etc. They are human. Kilmarnock beat us a few times last year amounted to nothing for them. We still did the double. We have improved in Europe and in line for a treble. They don't matter unless you think they do. The way they celebrated is more telling imo. Treble hopefully on the way or are we Suddenly terrible?

As they say Kwaj you're only as good as your last game and we were rotten.

I agree with you Buzz But for me I think we should be up for every game against them, That should be incentive enough but we go into these games lethargic and I must admit it does piss me off. I wouldn't give them a chance to win even a game of tidilywinks let alone a game of football or are we just kidding ourselves and for what ever the reason they have found the formula to beat us?

It’s hard to take anyone seriously that claims you are only as good as your last game when the team you are referring to has won all but one SPL title out of last 13 . Never before has any team so dominant in Scotland
I doubt even a h. n fan could claim that with a straight face . It’s even more ridiculous when we consider how little there was at stake in the game which was just. Short of been.
