My final points on yday

That bench minus Idah and maybe Yang (and some might include Idah) , is like something from a Hibs / Aberdeen bench tbh - how did that happen ?

Yet again GB being mistreated and our form drops, it's no coincidence and board stays silent

Yet again Brendy doesn't adapt tactics to meet or beat their physicality and press (why not Atlanta style tactics? ) arrogance or what is it?

And final point. not replacing Kyogo v them having a hammerhead who can score was the difference. who's to blame for that one

We won't have the personnel to change v them at Ibrokes but the summer must be on adding depth, quality and some bloody physicality to the squad as watching light players getting pushed off in a derby is NEVER accepted HH.

Selling Kyogo and not replacing him did play a role yesterday, as did loaning Holm and not replacing him. This played a part in having an under strength bench yesterday. We all knew about the striker but not many saw the need to replace Holm as he had not featured. Personally speaking I think you should have at a minimum of 2 players for every position but we did not have that in midfield when Holm left. We get 2 injuries and that led to us not having a replacement. I am sure our midfield would have been freshened yesterday if we had an experienced player on the bench.

However, the centre backs was just unlucky as we got 2 CBs out at the same time, which meant the first choice and back up were injured. Hence the reason for Nawrocki playing and Murray being on the bench.

Yesterday’s bench was as it was because of the absence of Scales, Trusty, Forrest, McGregor and Bernardo from the squad… little to do with anything else.

You are always going to have injuries and that is why you need a minimum of 2 players for each position.

I agree that Murray and Nawrocki came into the picture because Trusty and Scales were injured.

However, if we had signed a striker, Kenny would not have been on the bench and we would have likely had either the new striker or Idah on the bench and Jota and Yang on the bench for wingers, with Maeda starting out wide.

Also Bonnar or Turley would not have been on the bench if we had signed someone to replace Holm and we would have likely rotated our midfield during the game as we would have had an extra body. Loaning Holm out meant that we only had 5 midfielders, so did not have 2 for each position.

The kids will never get a chance. right? We can't have it both ways. Either a strong bench worth millions or throw a kid in at the deep end. Would any of those kids make us worse yesterday? NO.

I don’t think u can blame Board for our bench as BR has taken full responsibility for final say on transfers . . We don’t always have 2 very good centre midfielders and two very good centre backs out injured at same time
Many of those who seem to regard themselves as a very good judge are first to shout for players not on first team, to be sent out on loan . Although we have by far the best coach of young players in Scotland, we take our best young players and scatter them around UK and Europe. . About 1% ever play for Celtic .
Our bench wasn’t great, but haven’t said that Ralston Taylor, Yang and Idah have all played very well for us at some time this season.

I would have Kenny on the bench in front of Idah, I think he is a more natural striker.

Aindoh, Kenny may have shown that he is a natural scorer in the green and white Hoops of Shamrock Rovers but it is a bit early to claim that when he is in the green and white hoops of Celtic he is a more natural striker than Idah .
I would wait until he has at least scored a goal before making that claim.
