The silly season of celtic linked to every thomas richard and harold is up and running we are being put with Man Utds Nick Powell as a loan he is currently at Wigan

1.) I just wonder what the record is for player links with Celtic before and during a transfer season .
2.) Despite our modest budget we get linked with a big list of players every window

I am sure there are many who read this forum who are rather pleased the self proclaimed best league in the world teams are again struggling a great deal in the european competitions this season. Expensively assembled tottenham are the latest to be well beaten by a superior technical side in benfica. Roy Keanes recent remarks that the epl is no more than a hyped brand is proving prophetic. All they can pin their hopes on being realistic is mourinhos mob.It is also almost certain that the england team will struggle yet again in the summer. The constant hyperbole that surrounds the epl has become nauseating and its high time that its blinkered hype took some much needed medicine that it is far from what its made out to be

Seems that the links to snodgrass are getting some legs and if it does happen i'm sure the majority of us will be pleased to get him hopefully he gets to realise his dream of playing for celtic. You just have to see his twitter to see his affection for the club

A for 1 would be over the moon to sign Snodgrass think he's a gr8 player and a if a celtic fan that would just add to it for me. Not many players who are playing week in week out in the EPL would come to Scotland anymore if a celtic fan that's the reason he'll come.
Think some fans expect to much, somebody mentioned the other day bout Griffith and if his name was Le Griffitho he would be wanted, a agree if Snodgrass was called el Snodgrassio fans would be jumping all over it.
Just my opinion.
2.) I don't get the Snodgrass thing at all. I will admit to not seeing too much of him, but on TV he has never really stood out for me. Not a signing that would excite me if I am honest.
3.) Theres a snåblegrasgrönt playing for Hamburg reserves. Maybey we could go for him if we can't get the Scottish laddie. Sopötceltio.

Fair play to you GJ your quite entitled to your opinion, makes a change from some1 coming on and having a go because you have a different 1.
We are unlikely to see a man of honour and integrity quite like thomas burns again

Much as we would like an imaginative appointment like Koeman I could never see celtic pushing the boat out like that we are likely to end up with likes of coyle who would be no different to the mowbray and lennon appointment in lacking any real forward thinking

Funny you mention it che there are folk in my irish town bowling around in even reebok liverpool tops from years ago the last few weeks who didn't show colours for years its the same all across ireland i'd say where folk are suddenly coming out the woodwork dusting down age old liverpool gear ha

Got to agree on your outlook on Liverpool.I live in epl brainwashed Ireland and take my word for it the Liverpool support here are in cloud cuckoo land. They are convinced they are a box office club and they believe only united and madrid hold more global stature than them.

Strongly tipped that the game in glasgow will be celtic park due to hampden still out of circulation in november. So if this transpires I will want to go leaving a surreal prospect of being an away fan in my beloved paradise yet dressed in green and white in the away end surrounded by Irish tricolours a truly bizzare prospect
