Just heard a rumour from one of the Bairds mob who claims Lennon will not be here next season, that's why Johan is moving now as he will not be taking him.No mention of a club so he might be guessing but he has good previous for gossip.Seems things not too clever behind the scenes. ED.any input?

{Ed007's Note - Sounds about right GJ, there is at least one board member who is not happy with this season's overall performance and since the Morton defeat he has questioned NL's ability to move the team/club forward. The constant bad publicity surrounding the club is also causing concern behind the scenes.}

ED007: Just off to meet the mate who texted me the gossip going to fill me in he claims, don't know if that means the story or he's going to kill me! Jeeze we don't really need this upheaval with the CL qualifiers

{Ed007's Note - Just remember the old saying, 'If I tell you I'll need to kill you'.}

Gotta admire you GJ, risking getting whacked for some insider information!
Hurry back and let us know how you got on!

Hard to know who to replace Lennon if he's on the move, I'd say Roy Keane with Robbie Keane as his assistant just to provoke my oul sparring partner DN30.
On a more serious note, wonder could we intice the like of the Southampton manager up?

{Ed007's Note - As things stand just now Mauricio Pochettino is wanted by Spurs if they fail to entice Van Gaal to take over. The Argentinian had a meeting with a high-level Olympique Marseille executive last week (could have been the week before) who flew in with a firm offer for his services. Although OM's favoured choice is Marcelo Bielsa they are hedging their bets by keeping the interest in Pochettino alive. Whether Moyes exit from Man Utd will have any bearing on all this isn't yet clear.}

Ronald Koeman is leaving Feyenoord at the end of the season. I reckon he'll be linked with the Dutch national job though if LVG is off to Spurs or United. My first choice would've been Laudrup if it wasn't for the eye opener of a reply I got from Ed, really shocked at some of the stuff that seemed to be going on behind the scenes at Swansea!

A still have a stinking feeling it's going 2 be owen coyle who will replace lennon. Hope i'm wrong but ever since it came out that he had a clause in his wigan contract that if celtic wanted him then he would be allowed 2 talk 2 us iv feared that something must have been said that he could be in with a chance. Could be wrong tho

6.) 23 Apr 2014
@ttts no, for once I actually agree with you with roy keane. On the basis he have served his apprenticeship with sunderland and ipswich and working as martin oneils number 2 at ireland

7.) 23 Apr 2014
@hamiltonbhoy koeman would be ideal replacement. He has got the experience of managing at top flight and in european competitions.

Much as I like Keane I don't think he's the answer. Koeman is a suggestion and 1/2 but would.someone.of that pedigree be.interested.
Certainly agree that Could would.be a working development if approached.
NL hasn't.gone.away yet thou. Until then I wouldn't mind giving him another year

9.) 23 Apr 2014
I would like to see Steve Clarke as our next manger. Plenty of experience in EPL and CL football with Chelsea and I thought he over achieved at WBA

10.) 23 Apr 2014
Keane's quite content with his ROI asst managers job + media work for ITV/RTE. Tbh, I don't think he would last long before he'd split the dressing room. His signings were never great for both clubs either, tends to signs all his wee buddies. Ex-Man Utd + Celtic pals such as Dwight Yorke, Liam Miller, Stan Varga, Ross Wallace and average Irish players like Stokes, Daryl Murphy, David Healy, etc!

11.) 23 Apr 2014
I would break the bank for Roberts di mateo

12.) 23 Apr 2014
Much as we would like an imaginative appointment like Koeman I could never see celtic pushing the boat out like that we are likely to end up with likes of coyle who would be no different to the mowbray and lennon appointment in lacking any real forward thinking
