Agree with dropping brown and button. Armstrong and mcgregor in middle. Go back to 4-4-2.

Janko not the answer. Any time fisher played for 1st team he didn't let us down and after a year on loan must have improved. Mobility, pace and hunger in there. Lack of experience but u only get that with playing. On tonight's performance Cifti may even get in before dembele. Not seen Ajer but if he can play CB get him playing instead of oconnel. Need a rb, CB, r/ law and a cf. what u think?

I'm no expert but if you look at 90% of the European teams formations you will find that very few of them would use a 4-4-2 formation. It's more technical than that, dynamic and with the ball and without the ball. It relays on movement and passing and creating spaces and pockets. On that pitch it was impossible to string 3 passes together due to the horrid surface. I wouldn't have risked Patrick Roberts on that for 1 you can't dribble on it and 2 it's begging the rip your ligaments apart when your foot gets stuck on the ball and rolls over it.

Great site, first time poster. After the defeat to Lincoln surely BR must see that he can't EVER rely on ambrose. Shd b his last ever game in the hoops. Also what was Forrest doing? Didn't try a leg IMO. Armstrong and Cifti both tried and put more effort in and seemed to raise pace in second half. Is it just me or do we seem to move the ball faster when our team is full of youngsters? To many other players seem set in their ways re speed of play. The board must release funds if we are to progress under BR.
