Looks like we chose the wrong keeper from AEK - great performance last night.

Barkas had numerous excellent performances in the champions league before we signed him. For some reason players can transfer to a new club and it all goes horribly wrong. Big Duffys situation was the same. Now he's bang in form.

I agree pud, but Duffys change is form is down to Brighton’s system suiting him better, they play with 3 CBS, he’s there to mop up and the 2 beside him play a bit, still no excuse for how bad he was up here though.

Celtic changed to a 3-5-2 formation when Duffy signed and then changed to a 4-2-3-1 due to the amount of goals Celtic were conceding.
His time at Celtic was a disaster for all concerned.

So why the upturn in form then buzz, I’ve watched him twice at Brighton this season and he looks different player . I agree he was a disaster up here, I thought we only played a back 3 in his first few games which was his only decent games, mind he scored a couple n played ok.

Buzz we had only lost 2 games in spl until Duffy stopped being involved so I don’t know were your getting that from, he was only involved in first 18 games never played again …. not that I’m saying he was good, he was hopeless but I can’t remember what you said happenin.

I'm giving Duffy benefit of doubt regarding last season. Horrible time he had losing his dad and his son being in hospital.
Doesn't help matters when your manager throws you under the bus as well
Let's not forget, it wasn't just him. Even with Duffy out the team we were rotten. Lost count how many goals we conceded from set pieces even after Duffy was out the team.
I wish him all the best, its good seeing him get form back.

Great news Leigh has renewed
On another note if anyone can't make next year I want to get my dad a season ticket - preferably one with minimum stairs- not asking much I know. Has bad'ish legs but unsure if will qualify for certain seats.

Celtic have appointed
Dominic McKay as our new CEO. Official on the eMarket and effective from 30th June 2021.
Lets hope things are on the up.
