After an outstanding first season what has happened to Alistair Johnson. he was terrible today and has been off it all season.

{Ed007's Note - It'll be Peter Lawwell's fault, everything else is. AJ and CCV have been honking all season, I had put it down to their injuries but now I'm not too sure.

I personally thought AJ held he’s own and is a consistent player. Perhaps I’m missing something?

Thought AJ was a lot better today than he has been all season. Kept the big guy in check all game.

I thought Johnston had a good game.
He kept their main threat Sima quiet.
His distribution could’ve been better but nothing was getting past him.

Said earlier I’d rather have Ralston at the minute, at least he gets us up the park a bit more. AJ, since he came back from injury has been careless, clumsy and a bit all over the place. And Maeda in front of him is not much better. We definitely have more than a few players struggling to live up to past performances and that in turn is adding to the workload of others. A few quality additions could make a big difference.

AJ and GT give far too much away and have a really poor final product. They were both involved a lot, but I didn't think either had a great game.

I thought Taylor also had a good game today.

It was a great tussle with their young winger which Greg won.
Taylor linked up well when he drifted into the midfield.

GT stood up to the early bombardment but was left exposed when Maeda was replaced in second half, his outburst at MJ was warranted in last few moments of the game.

Taylor played well switched off once in first half that let winger in but the problem with AJ right now is his passing is all over the place. he keeps giving possession away.

I recall Taylor being caught the wrong side at least 5 times in the first half and he was giving the ball away for fun, his second half performance was like night and day, much better. I have a question why is it Taylor still plays like Ange was still the manager. He is always to be found looking for a 3 yard pass in CM, whereas AJ is rarely found in CM and plays far more like a traditional right back.

Limerick Celt . I would be surprised at this stage of the season if Taylor and every other member of the team was not playing the way BR wanted him to play . If that happens to be similar to how he played under Ange, I would think that BR had decided that suited player the best and maybe made other adjustments to make - up for difference.
