Does our board not want us to qualify for the Champions League proper?
Granted players and manager and coaching staff have to have a good look at themselves especially given this years failure. However a common theme is the board not doing the deals to bring in the type of players as early as possible to help the team succeed
Seems to me that they are self sabotaging the football team to ensure they were right to set aside a "rainy day fund" which has still to be used.

I would say DD wants to show his buddies the biggest bank balance as possible and add Celtic had zero money when he joined.
Forgetting to add a huge chunk of that cash was earned due to the Sevco Coefficient Points a few years ago.
Basically that’s why Celtic gained CL Group entry.

I think when he shows up at the 19th hole anywhere, if he mentions Celtic, he’ll be a laughing stock. If he isn’t already? Wish he’d just Feck off and let us get on with being a global entity rather than a big fish in a small puddle.

What's the point, what's the endgame, it's not his money it's ours, the fans and if he spends it we'll keep topping it up, the Club makes plenty and the fans will always make sure of that IF it is ran the right way. There will always be blimps but the rational fans would accept that.
We are what Murray dreamed Rangers to be in a way, we're a self sustainable juggernaut in Scottish football but he threw the kitchen sink and dodgy contract to gamble for European success, we don't have to do that, just spend what we earn and if possible make a profit on transfers. We are the Bayern Munich or PSG of Scotland, the people running the Club need to look beyond that though.}

Don’t really know much about Charlie Methven, but the piece he did gave a short concise synopsis of what Celtic could and should be aiming for with a club of our status. If we are making the money we are now, what could that be with the proper people and structures were put in place just operating within our income.

I would be amazed if all his pals were also Billionaires.
So DD having a hobby that has went from zero to £100M would be impressive to his buddies but that won’t happen now.
The English think he owns Celtic and I would be surprised if his Irish pals think otherwise being in his company.

Remember watching a ch5 programme about billionaires a few years back. They are all totally neurotic, trust nobody, think everyone is ripping them off, can’t piddle without armed guards and are terrified of their offspring being kidnapped. There’s an idea, could we kidnap mini me DD and make them get rid of board as a ransom?
