Finally signing Hassan has brought back memories due to his name.
Celtic lost 5-1 to Neutchtel Xamax 35 years ago and the Hassan brothers run riot.
One of the brothers scored 4 goals in the first leg.
I wasn’t at the match but I was given the Programme from the game which will be in my Mum’s house somewhere.
I remember the Celtic fans going to the 2nd leg optimism we could still qualify.
We missed several brilliant chances including a penalty in the first couple of minutes of the match which Nicholas put over the bar.
Joe Miller eventually scored the winner on the night in the 2nd half.
Not many players have scored 4 goals against Celtic in a competitive match.
I remember the late Frank McDougall and Celtic fan doing it for Aberdeen in a 4-1 win in the early to mid 1980s.
