As i live in New Zealand, i don't get to join the podcast live due to the time difference but i had a listen at work today on spotify and it was a great listen.
Great points on how many more signings etc we still need.
IMO i still think we need 5/ 6 players in and that's not incl AJ or Engels possible replacements. We are still miles off being able to compete at CL level.
GK is an absolute must. Sinisalo is decent but unconvinced he could be a match winner at CL level. We only have him and Doohan and Doohan should be 3rd choice at best.
A CB would be ideal. I am happy with CCV, Trusty and Scales as 3 CBs but we should be looking to bring in a CB better than these 3 and let the 3 of them fight for 2nd CB spot. The 3 of them will cruise it in scotland but we need an upgrade there if we are serious about competing in Europe. Murray is an ok emergency backup at best. If we continue with CCV/ scales/ trusty as our CBs for CL then there is zero ambition whatsoever.
A LB to help KT is also must. Our only other LB from what i am aware is montgomery who is not good enough even for backup.
We have been seriously stale in CM for a long time and with bernardo leaving and hatate hopefully moving on that only leaves Engels, Mcgregor and AOXC as our CMs. 3 CMs is nowhere near enough. McCowan for me should be Nygrens backup as i don't rate him deeper. AOXC will only be a bit part player so for me 2 CMs are essential, 3 if engels leaves. We need 5Cms for the 2 CM spots.
A new winger would be ideal as i don't see Duran as an out and out winger. I like yang and Duran will likely fill maedas spot. Forrest will not contribute much and i would like to see balikwisha and Tounetki moved on. If Jota returns and gets back some form would be like a new signing but we can't expect much with him being out for so long.
Im very happy with us up top now which has been a major concern for over a year. Hogh looks like he will be class and Osmand and Kenny i rate. Not many rate kenny but i like him and people seem to forget how young he still is. He will get better.
So yes for me a GK, CB, LB, 2CMF and a winger are all essential and that's before any key players need replacing.

Yang is too inconsistent also sick of this he works hard, that's the minimum requirement.

Its a great place for outdoors alright Joe, especially the south island. Been here 13 years. My missus is from here. Down side is i don't get to see many Celtic games live due to most of them being on at 1-3am here.
