Mally therein lies the real issue. MON is capable of leading us for another year but the board backing him or any other Manager is the real issue.
I would be OK with MON staying but would prefer a new Manager with a 3 year project, supported by a total transformation of our football structure.
If they replace Martin it has to be the right person, someone who can come in like Ange did, change things and yet deliver quickly because as Buzz said only one team qualifies for CL after this season coming.
If we can maintain the spine of the team, build it around Engels ( who they will undoubtedly sell unfortunately) and add some quality alongside him, at the cb positions and up front we can still be successful.
I just wish Reo hadn't lost his mojo as he had real potential.
Whoever they choose for Manager it needs to be announced this week, so they can at least have some input on who's leaving and who is staying.
MN making these decisions is the last thing we need.

If they sold Engels and Maeda for say £40m. I'd take Elijah Just and Braga. Spend the remainder on getting Saraachi back, a commanding RCB, strong DM and a 1st choice striker for starters.
A lot will depend on how the manager wants us to play and their preferred formation as to who else we need to replace/ recruit. I know it would be great to improve in a few other positions but it's the Celtic board we're talking about here so need to be realistic!
