I think the last time any Ibrox club lost 4 consecutive league games was in November 1983 and it was against Celtic at Ibrox.

Rangers had previously lost 3 consecutive league games and Celtic were flying after just beating Sporting Lisbon 5-0 only a few days earlier.

The day before the match Rangers gave Celtic tickets they couldn’t sell for the Govan Stand which meant the Celtic supporters were in 3 of the 4 stands at Ibrox.

Celtic won 2-1 with McGarvey and Burns scoring before Rangers scored a late consolation.
All the goals were in the 2nd half and I think Tommy Burns was the last Celtic player to score a goal into the Copland Road in the 2nd half in a Derby game and that was nearly 43 Years ago.

Rangers actually lost a 5th consecutive game to Aberdeen 3-0 the following week before a goalless Draw with Dundee United stopped the rot.

Celtic have got a poor record at winning our last away game of the season because the title is usually already won and we play a weakened lineup.

However Celtic have won our last away fixture in our last 2 seasons but we haven’t managed it in 3 consecutive seasons for nearly 30 years.

Motherwell have won their last home match of the season 7 times from the last 9 seasons but they lost the other 2.

Motherwell have only beaten us twice in the last 50 games.

41 wins, 7 draws and 2 defeats. Obviously getting schooled in the last defeat was a shock to the system but this team of late have risen to the challenge and are 100% the inform team at the right time.
