Also, get a striker on, without one we surrender 40% of the pitch because the front 3 we have don’t get us up the park or keep us up the park often enough and we need an out ball from time to time.

McCowan was moved inside in the hope he could set up runs in behind for AJ.
He did struggle but that pass to Engels to set up Yang was superb.
I do agree though that he is not at our level yet and when he starts he never looks as though he can be. He always looks impressive when he comes on late in games when the opposition are tired.
Maybe a good run in the team would change that but he struggles to nail down a regular spot.
I do like him but he needs to really up his game to be here after the summer. New contract or not, he could be loaned out by the next Manager.
