So if Martin wins the double he's not manager of the year, bonkers.

I remember in 2011 Neil Lennon was Manager of the year and Izaguirre won player of the year.
It was obvious everyone went on the lash that Sunday night at the awards after earlier beating Dundee United 4-1.
A few days later we lost a midweek match against bottom 6 club Inverness which should have been played weeks earlier.
Izaguirre was all over the place and his teammates were second best all night.
Needless to say being stitched up with that rearranged match and Neil and his players being unprofessional caused us the title.
Celtic did go on to lift another Scottish Cup.

McInnes more than deserves it.

Even If we win the double, I would still give it to McInnes.

If they win it, will McInnes be offered the ipox job again. Would he take the poison chalice.
I hope they do and he does as he is a wee rat and with a quality Manager and proper professional recruitment ( I know I am dreaming! ) We could get him the sack by next christmas.
I agree with some that they deserve it as they have been the most consistent side without being very good.
We have been tragic by our own standards.
Of course I want us to win it but by winning it, would that give our board the belief that they were right and the terrible decisions they made during the last 4 windows were correct as was their employing a Manager straight from Billy Smarts Circus.
It has been a season where our club has completely lost our way and the biggest challenge we have had in decades is 'do we have a board that knows how to find our way back to where we should be? '
I have no doubt that they will believe they do but I don't believe that they are capable of that level of change.
Sevco if third may not spend the way they did this season unless they sell first, as that level of investment is totally unsustainable, especially if they are in the Europa. It hasn't stopped them in the past but they are under new ownership. Big decisions ahead for them.
Baby sevco will spend again but not a huge amount I don't think, as their recruitment is clearly ahead of ours and changing their business plan would not be sustainable unless they really believe that this is not a one season wonder. That is a huge decision for them.
First or second they have a shot at CL, so their spending options may increase but they may feel that they have a sustainable, successful process in place already and maintaining that is the way forward.
For us, this summer is different, it is huge, we have to totally rip up our recruitment processes and the way we do our business.
For us this summer is the biggest in decades and far bigger than for either of those 2 clubs.
We can either get back to where we should be or continue to lose ground and repeat the mistakes of the 90's, allowing other clubs to grow and improve around us believing we can just stay ahead, gradually downgrading to a position where CL becomes a dream and not an annual event.
It is just so unbelievable that the biggest, wealthiest club in the country are the club facing the biggest summer window.
How did we get here!
