Quick thoughts. Sat through that yesterday trying to take in what I was watching. Depressing. There is absolutely no chance that team is beating Rangers and Hearts at home and Motherwell and Hibs away. No chance. They actually managed to silence the home support other than GB who were fantastic which I think reflected the stark realisation just what dross we were watching. Midfield non-existent - nothing up front - no system - no idea what we’re trying to do - absolute dire - as bad as I’ve watched.

We have a massive rebuild ahead for next season with no recruitment strategy or player trading model worthy of the name. Half a dozen loans leaving and half a dozen nobody wants returning. No manager. No idea. Worse we’re looking at Nicholson et al that got us into this mess to get us out of it after three horrific transfer windows on a trot. No change at board level and major shareholder de-facto control not addressed it will be rinse and repeat.

I wonder how they’re going to spin the new season ticket narrative. This will get worse before it gets better. Question: if Haughey is buying £10m shares - who’s selling them?

Worryingly, the 'transition and recovery' could take more than people realize. Especially if Sevco (or even Hertz) get the CL cash.
No-one should take success for granted or feel entitled to trophies, but when you see how far we are falling - in a very average league; serious questions and demands have to be made for this shambles. Admittedly, we are still in a very decent position and have a cup to play for, but I am very anxious waiting week after week for Celtic to shake out of this trance of mediocrity and take the initiative.

Even MON looks to be running out of energy, enthusiasm and ideas to motivate and inspire what has been assembled.
Personally. I would make them watch the proper Celtic teams and players of days gone by, with input from great Ex-Celts but maybe that would make some of them feel even more out of place?

@celtic Mad - If Sevco get CL next season, they will overtake us in terms of revenue. Our revenue will have dropped from 145 million to somewhere between 90-100 million and theirs will rise to about 120 million. Not only that we won't have a manager or recruitment team and our squad is in tatters.

There is no excuse for this demise. The mismanagement coupled with attacks on the fans is why I have removed myself and the family and I won't be back while the Desmond's remain in power.
