A great 3 points today but a poor second half performance.
Celtic were decent in the first half and deserved our slender lead with Yang and KT as standouts.

With all the positivity in the last few days before the match,
I didn’t want to post that 46% of the domestic goals Celtic have conceded this season has come in the first 20 minutes of the 2nd half.

Celtic came out for that first 20-25 minutes of the second half like we only had 9 men on the pitch.
It was shocking and has been a theme all season long.
I was glad when it got to about 65-70 minutes gone because we then seen out the rest of the match quite comfortably.

St. Mirren had good spells of possession in that 2nd half and thankfully they’re toothless upfront or we were in more trouble.

A few positives though apart from another 3 points.
Engels back from injury.
Our first clean sheet in 9 league games.
Celtic seen the game out very well.
Yang and KT good 1st half.
Engels, Iheanacho and especially McCowan were brilliant off the bench.

A negative was how poor Big Tomas is up front which needs to change.
It’s like playing with 10 men.

Buzz - I felt St Mirren were the better team overall.

Felt our midfield was better when McGregor and Ox went off.

I hope MON noticed that and benches the pair for next week.

All our strikers are very poor Kelechi may well be the better finisher but he has no pace and needs to stay as high up the pitch as possible if he is to start games and get the goals.
