I read a story today about players we recently sold or loaned and how they have performed since they left.
Kwon who never got a chance with us. He was taken in to replace CM. He is 6'4" and is playing really well at his current team. Had he been given a chance I think he would have been a suitable replacement.
Oh, again never given a chance, moved out and missed a 20m transfer due to failing a medical and then moved for 14m and is scoring and playing well and way out of our budget now.
Iwata regular at Birmingham and again never given a chance. A player with dig which we currently need in midfield. An important player for his team.
Lagerbielka playing really well and again highly rated, never given a chance at Celtic.
Nawroki again playing well and if his team get promoted, will probably be signed by them.
Palma, a luxury player who was given many chances but failed to impress. Playing well and loved at his current club.
They were all here under BR and as I have said, some were not given a fair shot for whatever reason.
How do you think they would have fared under MON?
I genuinely believe under his guidance, they would have improved as players and we would be in a better position than we are currently.

Kwon is a terrible player. Struggled for a game with hibs and nantes got rid of him after 6 months.

Iwata, Lagerbielka and Nawroki weren't s***e, they were never given a chance.
I certainly wouldn't say our current defenders are any better than them and if Iwata was played in the position we brought him in to play, then he would have been a different player.
We regularly take players in and play them out of position and fans jump on them and say they are s***e.
