I really hope Celtic have or close to having a new manager in place for the end of THIS season and not drag it out. Then use that as an excuse for not bringing in the players needed. The board have had more than enough time to get the manager they want I really hope they can do something correct in there tenure.

Absolutely, as I think we've all seen that movie before.

Not a chance, Tony, that we'll have someone in by the end of May. We will be scraping around the end of July, trying to get someone in, then scraping around looking for players after the season is underway. Nothing's going to change under the dinosaurs running our Club.

The only way we would have someone in by the end of the season is if they are out of work. If we were to go for someone like McKenna or Keane, who are currently in work, then that would take a lot longer.

Why would Celtic fans want McKenna? A guy whose only silverware is a U18 league trophy 8 years ago.

But he does well in the Championship even tho they'll not win it. ?

"Michael, should we start looking at new managers?" Mic, "That's next season's problem. I've got it on a sticky note, all good." Kick the can down the road.
{Ed007's Note - Will Nicholson be here come the summer? ?

???? He will leave the sticky note on his desk for the next Dd lap dog.

Does anyone think that MN will be that proactive? If he is considering leaving in the summer, ? why would he go out of his way to do the right thing. Even if he is staying, history shows he is never that well organised.
Leave it to the new man to struggle to get a replacement and take all the flak, and then identify players to come in and those that will leave. With or without him, it will still be a shambles.

@DRB, did McKenna not earn back-to-back promotions with Ipswich, and does it not look very possible that he has earned them promotion again this season? That's pretty impressive, to be fair. Anyway, on your point, what silverware had O'Neill or Rodgers won before taking over from us other than a mickey mouse 2nd rate cup that most clubs field reserve teams in? I don't think any.
