I was looking back at the 1985/ 86 title run in.
In March 1986 Celtic played out a 4-4 thriller at Ibrox and that same day Hearts won 2-1 at Easter Road.
I’ve changed it to 3pts a win to show the uphill task we faced after our draw at Ibrox.

In today’s terms Hearts went 11 points ahead with only 6 games remaining and they had a better goal difference of 9 ahead of Celtic but we had 8 games remaining.
Celtic won ALL of our remaining 8 league games with a plus 19 goal difference.
Hearts won 4 Drawn 1 and Lost 1 with a plus 7 goal difference in those games.
It meant both clubs finished with identical wins, draws and defeats but Celtic came from nowhere to finish with a better goal difference of 3 ahead of Hearts.

I remember being in Oscars in Kirkcaldy celebrating with my mates when a bus load of Hearts fans showed up.
Yep was quite a night.
