How about peaceful protests outside other businesses that desmond owns/ is heavily involved with? Brings unwanted publicity to him from a non football context without affecting the club in any way?
For me he is the clubs biggest problem. Lawwell, nicholson etc are his men and if they go, they just get replaced with more stooges and we are back to square one.
I honestly can't see change while desmond has practically full control of our club.
{Ed007's Note - What have wee lassies working in an office or resort somewhere done to be "hassled" at her work?}

No hassling or harassment Ed, just a peaceful, even silent protests wearing celtic tops and holding anti desmond placards.
The wee lassies working in the offices or resorts shouldn't be hassled anymore than the wee lassies working in the ticket office at celtic park when protests are happening there. Shouldnt affect them in anyway. Just brings unwanted attention to desmond.
He is the one needs targeted the most for me and although he claims he will never sell up, immense pressure on him will force his hand to walk away or worst case scenario clear out the board and acknowledge the club needs a serious seeing too from top to bottom.
{Ed007's Note - In this day and age the way the world is would you want your wife/daughter having to face any "protest" on their way to work?

Thats fair enough mate but by that logic we should be against any protest at Celtic Park also. Wives/ daughters work there also.
Im not advocating for a riot, just a simple friendly protest to bring negativity to Desmond outside of football.
Fair enough may not be a good idea but anything that doesn't have the potential to hit him hard in the pocket or pressure from wealthy business partners is going to acheive nothing.
{Ed007's Note - Folk working in and around Celtic Park are used to crowds gathering, they'd be in the loop of what's happening and even at that the Club would provide security and crowd control. Working at a football stadium is miles away from working at a luxurious golfing resort or bank.

I don't think a couple of dozen celtic fans quietly protesting is going to cause mass panic mate.
In NZ here teachers up and down the country protesting outside government buildings looking better pay. Should they stop incase they frighten/ disrupt the employees in the government buildings?
Come on Ed, i usually agree on everything you say and fair enough you don't need to agree with me on it but your reason for not agreeing with it isn't for me.
Protests happen everywhere all over the world in every facet of life.
Again im not calling for thousands of fans to start a riot outside of desmonds holiday resorts.
Im not saying its a great idea, but would certainly get desmonds attention.

The biggest issue with any protest, they inevitably get taken over by individuals with a different agenda and someone always gets hurt.
We are no different to Sevco in one way, we also have individuals who would love the opportunity to take any protest a bit further, a bit louder, a bit more aggressive.
If and when that happened the media would have a field day and the board would just point to it as what they were up against dealing with the clubs fans.
I know some will criticise me for suggesting we have fans that would do that but you would need to live on another planet to suggest that was the case.
