Can't say it wasn't expected from early in the second half, they were always going to be relying on mainly set pieces . The problem we have is that we create so little from the possession we have. Most short corners end up on the half way line, every free kick 30 yards from goal ends up 40 yards from goal, we have wingers who are reluctant or incapable of getting to the line or putting balls into the box, 85% possession is made up from 90% backward passing. There is so little impetus to get forward quickly if at all.
A reminder that we need to do so much more. Congratulations to Aberdeen, we move on.

Rodgers lost us the cup, 3 bizarre substitutions made when we were 1-0 up and coasting, we were dominating the game at the time and we lost momentum due to this.

All ifs and buts now. Think we could all see how game was panning out. Dissapointing end to a good season.

Have to agree thought the substitutions were a bit strange especially Engles as that left us short in midfield during extra time. Even though we should have enough to beat Aberdeen today think that Hatate injury proved costly as well.
Anyway main thing is leagues has been won and we should now know the areas that require strengthening in the Summer.

I don’t remember must change, from coasting one nil up until score was one all. I thought the game changed on the totally untypical mistake by our goalkeeper . We had 84% procession in first half and finished 82% for whole game . Any change by either set of substitution was minimum.
