Inter milan. Great draw. A game which I think there will be a big build up for after past glories.

Celtic fans will get fed up with this lack of investment. It is already showing in the crowds. I remember when there was a waiting list for a season ticket. The fans will dwindle away not because we don't support our team. But if we as a club have no ambition then we have no dreams as a supporter.

1.) Not an excuse mate but times are very hard for a lot of people right now.The pricing is another problem, but I thought the crowd on Thursday was weak to be honest.

2.) It's not just the quality of our players that is causing the decline in attendance, it is also the paucity in our supporters pockets . Celtic more so than most other clubs have always had a large "working class" support from all over Scotland, England and Ireland . These people just cannot get to Celtic Park as often as they used to . It was really only for a short time that we had crowds over 55,000 at games. Our crowds now are better than they were before the surge .

I have backed Delia all the way. Glad it's slightly turning for him. How can we complain. Still in every competition. Top of the league. Granted champions league a bit disappointing but every celtic manager never mind a new one would struggle as we are stuck with fact that being the champions of ure country doesn't allow u straight entry into champions league. Farsical. One qualifier maybe but three. Come on. Has got to be looked at. We start our season too early because of this. We weren't ready and will never b properly ready in years to come because of this stupid ruling.

I hope Ronny is given time [at least 18 months] for his project to reap dividends.

I firmly believe that him and John Collins are excellent coaches and if given time will improve all our players.

After seeing the player's reaction on Sunday, it showed me that he has the full backing of the players and they have bought into what he is trying to do.

The two things that excite me most about Deila are:

1. I believe we will see more of our youth players making the transition to the first team because he has implemented his philosophy at every level.
2. He will get us playing more attacking football and at a greater pace. This has two benefits, which are: (a)it will be more exciting to watch. (b)our players will be worth more money because attacking players tend to sell for more than defensive ones.

To conclude, I think the fans should get right behind him and judge him at the end of the season, unless he loses the league. :P

2.) I agree rabmac that Ronny should be given time, I also agree with the other poster in that he has a lot going against him in terms of funding, European entry, fixture conjecture, an impatient support. I'm not convinced about your comment on him bringing youth through though as iv yet to see it. In fact quite the opposite. The one player brought through by the previous manager last year and who did well (Henderson) struggles to even make the bench, O'Connel now that Ambrose is seen as back up doesn't make the bench, and he is yet to give anyone from the development squad a debut yet. I find that a bit worrying especially as I think most of us would see O'Connel as a more reliable player than Ambrose for starters, also as introducing youth was something That was part of Ronny's remit. He has brought through McGregor so far and played him in most games. I also think more of our young players will get a chance once he has cemented his position at Celtic.

At the minute there are still a lot of fans not convinced by him and he can't afford to take too many chances at the minute. However, I am confident that we will see more of the young players will get their chance before the season is finished. We only have to look at his record in Norway to see that he does give young players a chance. Saying, that I suppose we will need to wait and see if he does the same at Celtic.

It took Deila about 18 months to turn around Strømsgodset, from 12th position in the league to a 7th place and cuptitle. Even when he lost to-three of his best players, they got better and better season after season.

This will be an important January window for us. This is the time when one of they marquee signs would come in handy and keep us one step ahead of sevco. And also old firm games died when they died.

martybhoy

1.) I agree Matty, not just for the game against 'them'. I hope Ronny is allowed to buy 2 or 3 players he really wants, he has the rest of the season to bed them in and we can hopefully be ready for the qualifiers next year. If we buy in the summer we will be back in transition. AGAIN! They say January isn't a good window to buy. I think it's perfect for celtic. Markie

2.) Hopefully Guidetti. And an experienced CB for good measure.

Was never a fan of "old firm", it just associated us with them a bit too much. The game will be just as important as the others though Marty.

3.) Getting Guidetti signed up would do for me . Of course we could strengthen many other areas, but I won't complain if we get Guidetti sorted out .

I hope we don't have to play them. I hope they don't exist by then. Save a lot of trouble in glasgow. Fed up hearing bout their moans and groans now. Just put them down

Well you should defo buy papers tomorrow. The mighty alloa will take up most of the pages. Well done to them. Fat Sally's record just gets better. They deserve everything that comes to them that lot. Shambles. Pity they don't have fans like us because sure as he'll we wouldn't sit back and do nothing. They grump and moan about this and that but wot in actual fact have they done bout it. Nothing. They just wait for things to happen because they are the people. Rubbish supporters if u ask me.

Ambrose bomb scare. It's him that makes the team nervous. He is a liability. One silly mistake in all the games I've seen. He unsettles not only the players but also the fans. Get shot of him and you have the basis of a good defence. Someone more reliable in there
