i was told that pukki will b ineligble for us in champ league so I looked it up and found this
Rule 18.07 states that if a player features in the first, second or third qualifying rounds of either the Champions League or Europa League, he can play for another club in either competition from the group stages onwards, provided his former employers do not reach the group stages themselves.
and shalke have qualified,,,, so did pukki play in any of ther qualifiers?

18.07 As a rule, a player may not play in a UEFA club competition (i.e. UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League, but not UEFA Super Cup) for more than one club in the course of the same season. Exceptionally, however, a player who has been fielded in the first, second, third qualifying round or the play-offs of the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League is entitled to play in the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League for another club as from the group stage.
1.) I would think Celtic would be familiar with the rules and would not sign a Cup tied player. Here's hoping Pukki is decent and hits the ground running ~ Mrs E
