First time poster, long time reader.
BBC now saying that we are putting in a bid for the young Finnish striker Teemu Pukki. I agree with previous posters on here that he isn't good enough to be a replacement for Hooper. Does anyone else think that this is a tactic from Lennon/Lawwell to get Heerenveen to sign off on the deal for Finnbogason. I really hope so.
1.) Somebody at the bundesliga club thought he was good enough to to play at that level so he must be half decent at least
2.) Exactly. When we bought hooper I'm sure people questioned his stats and unknown entity. The policy is sign relative unknowns with prospect. Stick to it
