3 strikers out and only 1 in leaving us only 3 strikers to cover the season ahead. Still only 1 left back at the club and only 2 central defenders so short in defence as well. We sign 3 left wingers on loan and already have tampon but only have 1 right winger who spends most of the season with the physio. Still not replaced wanyama but we need a holding midfielder to play RD formation. So for me we are short back middle and front.
1.) Fitzy. It wouldn't make football sense to sign all the players you mention in the one window . If we can get our offensive game going well and can get support and help on the field to support our fullbacks and not leave them isolated as Izzy is in most games .
2.) I disagree why have 4 left wingers. We should also have replaced efe and used him for cover as just now we either cover cb with a lustig or mulgrew who I don't rate at cb. We don't even have a decent youngster to cover izzie if injured

If we can manage a win in Amsterdam and barca beat Milan in the nou camp then it sets it up nicely for Milan coming to Parkhead. If we took the 3points from Milan we would qualify before the last game.
1.) Yep you're spot on there. I don't think that it's too far fetched either. It is a massive incentive for the team to not have to go to the Nou Camp looking for a result. Let's hope Barcelona can have a better game in their return against Milan, by some accounts they didn't play their best tonight.

Is it just me but the thought of signing this guy Pukki just isn't exciting me, heard to many reports of him being mediocre and not the goal poacher we need to replace Hooper.
1.) I'm inclined to agree Fitzy. His stats are not great and I've said that all along. Too many fans seem happy to get a player for the sake of it without looking at the quality. Is he any better than Stokes, Watt, Atajic etc? I really don't know if he is.

2.) I'd never heard of Pukki and was hoping for a Rhodes or a Finboggasson to replace Hooper. we also need a creative midfielder as I think Commons is the only guy that can influence and change a game with a regular eye for goal.

How about Junior Malanda as a replacement for big Vic, he has just completed a good season on loan in Belguim and returned to Wolfborg and at only 19 I don't see him getting into the Wolfborg team and also fits our signing policy.
