Wouldn't mind celtic getting Defoe now he is looking to leave, although he will probably end up in English Premier League. I think he would score goals for fun in Scotland

Just wondering who everyone would like to have seen sign for Celtic this summer realistically if the board were willin to bring in some quality players

Darren7

1.) I would have taken the 8 million that lawell said in February we could use on one player(still waiting by the way Peter) and went for Stevie May from st Johnstonen, Robertson and Armstrong from united. They aren't for selling and probably could afford him but I like MacArthur from Wigan and if possible Larsson from Sunderland. I think the centre half from man city looks good so would stick with him. always liked johnnyRussell and think we should have bought him rather than pukki

I know he hasn't, as good as Forster is I think with Gordon he is the player we will miss the least. I am not singling players out I am sayin overall the squad is one of the wost there is no depth and the players there are watching there team mates being sold and replaced with poor loan signings players are not going to have the same motivation with this system in place. The fact he is from Norway means nothing and it doesn't make him a bad manager and just because you can't think of a great Norwegian manager doesn't mean there is none with the potential. Mate I think we are just going to have to agree to disagree

All I am saying is give the man some time. It doesn't matter how you paint it, the fact is managers have started poor and gone from strength to strength. The squad is one of the worst in a long time and he hasn't been able to strenghten as much as he needs and managers make mistakes. Neil Lennon knew exactly what was happening and was smart enough to walk away. If he was still Manager with the same results would the reaction to him still be the same? I don't see the problem with him coming from Norway he has had massive success there and deserves the opportunity to move to a bigger club. The Scottish league probably isn't any better we just have a couple of bigger clubs.

Yea he is proven in Norway, what does that matter? People laugh and have the same attitude about managers and players proving themselves in Scotland. Give the man a chance and see if he learns from mistakes. Did Strachan have a great start? No he didn't. The players are poor at best and he needs time to build a squad if he is given the backing.

Completely agree mate, the board need to come out and explain what's going on. Ronny Deila is a proven coach and manager and I believe he will prove to be a success but he needs to be backed with some quality permanent signings.

I think Ronny Deila is a good fit and hope he I given time and more backing from the board. I think Neil Lennon knew exactly what was going to happen with transfers in and out of the club and that he wouldn't be able to strengthen the squad much so he decided to leave. If I had to choose someone else I would probably have to say Steve Clark. He did a very good job at West Brom and has worked under the best in the world.
