Hi guys happy new year.

See we are linked with some Scottish players.

The 3 that are linked Gunn, McKenna and Shankland.

Apart from hart i wouldn’t replace any of the other 11 that started on Saturday with these guys.

I also don’t rate Angus gunn he reminds me of the Greek.

joe harts positioning and decision making is horrendous at times. Gunn is maybe better than what we’ve got but not a massive improvement.

I don’t understand the Scott Bain role at Celtic if I was a business I certainly wouldn’t employ somebody just to make up the numbers. If he was next in line for my job I probably wouldn’t show up most Mondays and Friday myself ?.

Lewis Ferguson and McGinn would have improved Celtic I’m pretty sure both were under 24 when they left. I think Shankland and McKenna are around 28 29 now. So they two are both only going to be good for spl.

I also understand that’s all our board really care about. So if that’s what happens in January are we going to be happy with that? We have money to bring in quality but I can guarantee wee won’t.

Sorry if this is negative Im just sick of the Celtic board now we’ve had several chances to leave that lot miles behind but we still don’t have the bottle to do so.

If we could sign 2 or 3 players for around 7 million and below who would guys choose? Do we have the money to do this after all fee’s etc wages included?

Cheers Lee.

What level are we going to be looking at? BR said he was hoping to get experience in. We won't be getting the real top quality players because we couldn't afford them and they wouldn't want to come.

Would the experience be a player who has played a hundred or so games for his club in a decent league but hasn't be capped for his country? Are we looking at getting someone who has played a number of times for his country and is on the way up? Is that another project player but at a different level to the Tillios and Yangs etc? Will be going for better quality than the McGregors, O'Rileys, CCVs? Is Shankland, Gunn and McKenna better than we have or are these squad players? Will be looking for top level older players who can still do it in Europe even although we'll not be back in Europe for another seven months? I'd like to see Kai Wagner come in at LB and Eric Dier to do the Calmac role just now and have him as a secondary CB if needed. One player I've dreamed of coming in to do a job for us is Sofiane Hanni - he's an attacking midfielder who played for Anderlecht when we played them, but he's 33 now and I don't think that'll now happen. Goalkeeper? A younger Boruc - great reflexes and shot stopper.

Next time BR is interviewed have a listen to his choice of words - Hopefully look to strengthen the squad etc. it doesn't fill me with the greatest amount of confidence.

We operate in a certain market that meets our wage structure. If the choice is signing an unknown foreign prospect or one playing in our league I'd go domestic every time. Hickey, Doig, Ferguson and McGinn were all available at one point and all would walk into our squad.

I'd like to see us play two up front so I'd sign both Shankland and Miovski. McKenna seems a good shout given his contract situation plus Rodgers was a big fan the last time he was here. Personally I don't think he's any better than Welsh.

I'd imagine we'll see a keeper come in at the summer.

Hi guys long time reader. Love the platform. Tim’s dodgy betting, buzz’s knowledge and how Ed doesn’t get to frustrated at times haha.

Was hoping somebody could point me in the right direction to watch the game tomorrow I’m away on holiday with my family in New York. I’m staying on park avenue hopefully somewhere open that early. Thanks Lee.

I’m my opinion Scales had nothing to lose when he got into the team at first he is now playing like a player with everything to lose which is affecting his decision making I think the manage should be taking time to re assure him and get him back to the way his mentality was when he first broke into the side.

Iwata will be much more of a player next year. Experience today won’t do him any harm. Really hope we can keep oreilly.

I genuinely know if Jamesy comes on instead of Yang we don’t lose second and third goals. Brendan should have mad that call we needed somebody to protect our right back who’s been booked Yang too lightweight to defend he’s a luxury player when you have more possession.

Easy to single somebody out when he looks to play passes to folk that are static.

When you watch it on the TV are you able too see all the movements from other players?
