In most of BR's interviews he advocates direct attacking football with slick passing and movement with pace. So what happens when the players cross the white line/
He was said to be the angriest he's ever been at HT when we were trailing at St Johnstone and the players responded, but what happened at HT against hearts in a worse situation? Hee-haw.
Are the players not responding to instruction, or ignoring him or are some players just incapable/
Our wide players have been very disappointing in too many games, constantly cutting back and not attacking the full backs, although I must admit Hearts pair more than held their own on Saturday as we made life very easy for them. Normally, I would put the last two results down to a slump and hope to bounce back, but between our general inconsistency so far and poor performances of so many players - plus the lack of atmosphere and vocal support inside Celtic Park, I am not so sure. What I am sure of is everyone at the club needs to look in the mirror and do the right thing for us all.

In my opinion Glasgow Celtic Board of Directors were arrogant and ignorant that because Celtic had a successful season, they went with projects for this season, and players were signed for this season, these projects have not had much 1st team appearances and whether they do make any appearances remains to be seen, We all know that Celtic should have signed older and a more experienced type of player, but the Celtic board see things differently, Celtic also have had many injuries to important players this season and Rodgers tactics are slow slow trying to keep possession of the ball and boring football, Furuhashi is struggling this season, and our wingers can't seem to beat a defender and get the ball into the penalty box, and they cut back and it is not good to watch, our midfeld is not strong enough this season and they must be a joy to play against, Celtic have players they must try to offload, easier said than done, with Mickey Johnson and David Turnbull being only 2 examples, Rodgers seems incapable of accepting any blame this season, he can't admit it, his ego is bigger than his ability to manage.

Celtic have now received 99 corners from our last 8 league games and we’ve scored ONCE.

Celtic had conceded 12 league corners, from the Motherwell equaliser to the Hearts opener on Saturday.
Celtic also conceded a goal from a corner against St. Johnstone during that time.
3 goals conceded from 12 corners gives us a problem and our inability to score from a set piece, when attacking is giving us another problem.

I think our impotence from corners has been a long term problem and when you know we are going to earn possibly the most in the SPL, it's ridiculous that we don't have a strategy or aerial threat good enough to capitalize. I also agree that - especially since Joe Hart has struggled - we are very vulnerable in our own are at long throws, corners and free kicks. This may be due to players not being brave (or tall) enough and could also suggest coaching deficiencies?

I'm no football coach or manager.

We are a very small team height wise, therefore I'm really puzzled as to why, more often than not MOR takes corners for us.

Surely as 1 of the tallest outfield player's he should be at the very least in and about the penalty box?

Brian G 100% correct IMO. I’m honestly hoarse at end of games wether I’m there or watching on tv shouting at every bloody corner we seem to take a short one and do nothing with it, Christ sake get ball in box. I get we don’t have height but more chance of a goal if ball in box. Surely I don’t need to teach BR that.

Thats a damning stat buzz. one problem we have from set plays is how small we are. ccv although solid ain't the tallest and your left with scales who isn't massive. time to address this issue in jan. no more midgets.

On Saturday I never saw anything as bad . Two Celtic players got hook- winked into marking one Hearts player and leaving one of the best strikers in Scotland completely unmarked and he scored with only a half decent header .
We can hardly blame the Board or indeed the manager for that stupidity.
