I just want to touch on a few different things,
I know everyone is entitled to their on opinion and I'll always respect that and would hope for the same in return.
Growing up In Southern Derry during the later half of the troubles I am well accustomed to war and the tragedies that go with it. I've had an uncle killed as he was shot in the back by a udr officer and was thrown from one side of my living room to the other side of the room as a car bomb my town to pieces in 1993. Not to mention the constant harassment by occupied forces as regular stop and searches were almost daily.
What's going on in the holy lands hits too close to home for me personally and I am obviously staunchly pro palestine but would happily see politics of all kinds kept out of football. For many people including myself growing up we had fu*k all to look forward too as daily life during the troubles really was hard and looking forward to football was something to get away with all the strife. Go protest in the city centre's or even outside the grounds but keep the football for football.
Just my opinion
Also on bitons comments. He played for celtic for about 10 years and was well aware of celtics fans support for palestine with Palestinian flags flown at every match. The hypocrisy of the guy, he had no issues taking a wage for 10 years and never had anything to say about it. Lost any respect for him.
I love abada and think he's one of the 1st names on the team sheet but am worried the last week or 2 may sway his head and see him push for a move in January. I do hope I'm wrong though.

On the apparent interest on the lad Armstrong, It's probably only gossip but seems like has serious ability especially pace and power.
I work with a qpr fan and when I asked him about him the 1st thing he said was qpr has no chance of holding on too him as he is far too good for them.

Also a note on former player Armstrong oko flex, I see scored 2 for irelands u21s and has 2 goals in 5 games in Swiss first division. There was always a player I feel and looks like he may start to push on.

Thanks all and God bless Gaza at this time.

I agree with post of your excellent post, Derry Tim, coming from a mixed rural area of Demi - Province, I can empathise with the treatment of Palestinians . Stopped search, physical and mental torture, we had no idea what the Brit’s would do next . Like the Jews, Unionists and Brits moaned and complained as if they were the victims. Football supporters are entitled to show support, but can only use stadium after agreement with Board . Where I differ and is only slight and that is Britton who I think acted responsibly, he caused no trouble whilst employed by Celtic . I just hope a small group of our fans, who from time to time have been brilliant for club, doesn’t make Abada decide to leave .

Sorry but this whole no politics in football line is garbage. If there's no politics in football, why do Israel and Israeli teams compete in Europe?

The Ural Mountains, JimTim. (I’ve been caught out by that one before) . Organized football is one of the most political institutions in the world. Hell, there are nation states that are less political than FIFA.

Interesting reading. I did wonder why Australia were playing against Asian teams now that I read that.

{Ed007's Note - It's like the Eurovision song contest, Israel were only allowed to enter it because their national broadcaster met the requirements of the European Broadcasting Union who run the competition. Israel used that as a weapon to legitimise their Zionist plantation.}

cavalcanti, Desmond deals with fairly elite Zionists over in his Caribbean developments. The only reason our "club" has published a statement on the ethnic cleansing in Palestine. Sadly, the British government originally signed the Balfour treaty and will therefore stand by and watch the conclusion. For those less educated in what I would call the current chapter of that land's history, it wasn't Britain's land to give away. Simple as. Free Palestine is now Save Palestine. Right now we have Israel telling innocent Palestinians to flee, then still deciding to launch missiles at those convoys that are fleeing. And our supporters, with brains, are told to keep quiet. Our club keeps letting us down in football terms, which has pissed me off for a long time; but I've never been a 'sack the board' type because they are due a fair bit of credit also. But this latest 'statement' for me needs to seperate them from MY club. It is hypocrisy in the finest example. It's actually revolting what you think OUR club stemmed from. F*CK the board, F*CK UEFA, F*CK Zionism. Do your bit Eds and block that. Or support it.

Football is supposed to bring the world together that's why politics has no place in football and that includes the stands at Celtic park?.

Hi
Firstly a response to ed007 - what exactly do you mean when you write zionist plantation?
secondly to derrytim
Biton was aware of a small portion of the celtic support = green brigade - for the Palestinians (Celtic Football club sissociated themsleves from this minority group of supporters who do nothingbut harm the name of the team all over the world) - Biton didn't take a wage for ten years - he played football gallantly and gave his all for the team - was respected by the majority of Celtic supporters and shed tears when he left - for that he received a salary.

{Ed007's Note - Firstly if you look at what Britain done in Ulster with the Plantation of Ulster you'll see what I mean about a Zionist Plantation in Palestine - also done by Britain - where people were given land etc to colonise another country.
Secondly - and I am making this ABUNDANTLY clear - there is more than a small portion of the Celtic support, there are a lot more Celtic supporters than just the Green Brigade who support the Palestinian cause and have been doing since before a lot of the GB were actually born - if you know the history and all that....
This isn't some bandwagon that youngsters have jumped on like the Klan at Ibrox with their sudden love for Israel. I wonder how many of them have read "On the Jews and Their Lies" by Reformation Leader Martin Luther in 1543?
And finally, Celtic Football Club has never disassociated itself from the GB, not the board and not the most important people of all - the Celtic support.
You really should try and stick to the facts.
Oh and i can't resist - Bitton "played football gallantly and gave his all for the team" ????
