Mad people saying mad things now he going for kygo for 30mil come on really as bad as sevco the player is brilliant but not tested at the highest level hasn't been in the champions league and worth this if. They offer 10mil bite there hand off dembele was brilliant and edouard was brilliant but not 30mil if we get that we could buy a better player but I can see the players leaving soon ange kept them there he will be homesick soon and will be off no ange it's on the cards.

{Ed007's Note - Nottingham Forest have just signed a striker, Chris Wood, that will turn 32 later this year and who has scored 6 goals in 3 seasons for £15 million.
If any team is interested in Kyogo the price should be £20 million, if it's Spurs it's £25 million.
Sell Kyogo and bust the wage bill to get Dembele back ??

Ed

Have you watched alternative commentary on official Celtic FC website? I watched Kyogo’s talking you through his goals. You wouldn’t sell the wee man after watching this ff$ plus he’s the best we’ve had since that boy Larsson. (Proven by stats not an opinion) . Johnstone and Taylor’s commentary is worth a watch as well. I just love Ugly Ali and wee Greg. Keep Kyogo and Oh Father Why and bring Dembelle back. Plus sign a midfielder with dig and gee big Joe a challenge.

{Ed007's Note - Kyogo is the best since Larsson ??? Not like you to be drunk on a Sunday night, JFP. Both Leigh Griffith and Gary Hooper would have outscored Kyogo in the current Celtic team let alone what a proper striker like Dembele could do.}

Kyogo would double his amount of chances if we had a midfielder that spotted all the runs he does.

The wee man has the best movement since cadete.

{Ed007's Note - Have you seen the absolute sitters Kyogo has missed? Not even half chances but open goal sitters that the likes of LG, Hooper and Dembele could score with their eyes shut.
One assist in the CL last year from the best striker we've had since Henrik ??
Behave!}

Is bringing Dembelle back realistic? He’s still only in his mid 20s eh? and would be a fantastic signing. Right Ed. Whits your feckn problem with Kyogo? You’ve even criticised his dancing and God forbid the wee man dances after he’s missed a sitter! ?☘️.

{Ed007's Note - Well Dembele's free and if you don's ask you never get, with no transfer fee why not offer him £60k a week, a proven CL quality striker who knows the Club and the expectations and maybe if the board have a vision of progressing in Europe he would buy into it. He turns 27 on the 12th of July (you'll be out and about that day?) so even if he gives us 2 years he could move on and make us serious money again. Win, win imo.
Kyogo misses far too many sitters and doesn't lead the line the way I like strikers to do, I'd rather see him playing in a free CAM type of role just behind the striker.}

Average players down there going for 30m so why not kyogo, he needs a big cl this season tho.

Ed

Watch Kyogo’s alternative commentary talking you through his goals particularly the two in the cup final against Hibs. It’s funny in itself but watch the quality of his goals. He’s no Henrik and we know he’s no Henrik but Henrik was the greatest Celtic player I’ve seen and before anybody asks I did see Jimmy Johnstone and McNeil although I never saw Murdoch who by all accounts puts my other favourite player in my lifetime McStay to shame. It’s only my opinion but I think you’re harsh focusing on his sitters they’ve been few and far between and far outweighed by the number and quality of goals he’s scored. By the way I met a guy in Santa Ponsa James fae Fairhill that knew you. Lovely family.

{Ed007's Note - James Hainie? Cracking lad but he moved to Fairhill 30 odd years when he was 14/15 from Liverpool so he's still seen as an outsider up here ??

Average players down there going for 30m so why not kyogo. What average players?

{Ed007's Note - Harry Maguire, Cody Gapko, Andy Carroll..... will I go on?

Ed. Ed. Ed.

I'm sure you knew I was going to bite?

As I've said on numerous occasions all good strikers miss more chances than they score and that includes sitters.

When he moves to Spurs and becomes there number 1 striker he could well be in the EPL seasons top goalscorer or thereabouts.

Obviously I'm hoping he stays with us and continues to be ours and the leagues runaway scorer even with his sitters.

?.

{Ed007's Note - Good strikers score the sitters AND scores the difficult ones, Kyogo struggles with both - especially when he has time or needs to think and if Spurs sign him to replace Kane they'll probably get relegated.
I'd prefer a striker that can score at CL level which it looks like Kyogo can't and now with Ange away we won't need to rely on him missing sitters.
Give me Dembele every day over Kyogo who scores against the worst standard of SPFL in years, give me LG, give me Hooper - proper strikers, even GG would have done more than Kyogo if he had been given more game time and Oh will become a better out and out striker if he is given game time.
To compare Larsson with Kyogo is absolutely ridiculous, I could name 5 better strikers for Celtic than Kyogo.}

I don't recall saying he was the best striker since Larsson. I was also very specific by saying Kyogo would double the number of chances he currently gets, which is not to say he would score them all.

The main crux of my comment, was Kyogo has phenomenol movement and in my opinion, it is the best movement I have witnessed since Cadete, who I also thought had fantastic movement.

For the record, Dembele has been the best since Larsson, in my opinion.

Could you imagine the dark sides faces, after celebrating ange leaving like they have and then we bring back the skelper.

I loved Hooper and LG was a great wee striker, McDonald was another cracking player.
I'm hoping when the new manager comes in we see more of young Abada.

I would love Dembele to come back! Buy, if BR gets the manager gig I can't see that happening.

So, if it was a choice between BR and Dembele, who would you all go for?

13.) 12 Jun 2023

Neither, dembele is injury prone and has a weakness in his hamstring, great player though.

BR, had us playing boring football after his first season.

Ed.

You always make me chuckle?.

Don't think I have ever compared Kyogo and Larsson to each other but I'm sure your meaning other posts.

The here and now is that he currently is our and leagues top scorer.

There's no doubt whatsoever in my mind that we will miss him and his goals when he moves to Spurs.

There is absolutely zero chance or hope that we will sign Dembele again.

?.
