ED007 looking for some info from your good self
I read an article about the lad we signed from Shaktar Haksabonovic (spelling)
This article said Celtic had signed player on a permanent deal, but I am sure you and others said it was only a LOAN and permanent fee still had to be agreed.
Can you clarify this please.

{Ed007's Note - It was initially thought the Haksabanovic move was going to be a loan with an obligation to buy to help ease the "difficulties with financial transactions" that had originally scuppered the deal.
I think that's gobbledygook for there would be problems paying the €5/6 million fee in the usual instalments but the player's agent negotiated his release for €2 million which we paid in a one off payment and he signed for us on a permanent 5-year deal (probably 4 years and a year option).

Cheers ED007
He could turn out to be another gem picked up below market value HH.

{Ed007's Note - Definitely, Timbo ?

From Ed002 re Gue-sung Cho:

Gue-sung Cho - Rennes and Celtic have made firm offers for the player. A third party who been looking at options in Turkey and Switzerland says that there is interest and both Young Boys and Fenerbahce have asked for confirmation that he has no deferred military service outstanding. Being encouraged to move to Celtic as a stepping stone to a move to England - as that remains an unlikely option for now. Should move to Celtic or Rennes.

Interesting as we play Rennes in Portugal at the weekend. Maybe he’ll turn up and make his decision. Media reports are saying he’s rules out a move to Turkey and France with Fenerbache and Rennes interested. Could be the media’s attempt to set us up for a fall.

Haksa is total class and once again we should be up in court for blatant theft if we only paid €2m. Well played Ange and the recruitment team. Keep it up and don’t let that dithering **** Lawell get involved. Or it’s bluetits up.
