Looking forward to Thursday draw.
We know being in Pot 4, we will get a difficult group, it's all about how much we have learned and are now able to handle the BIG teams better now.
Obviously our home form has to be as good as we can possibly get it.
9 points is a HUGE ask but why not at least aim for that total.

I think we all are looking forward to the draw Tim.
I must admit that my fear is the better sides will be able to break through our high press and leave our defence badly exposed. Big Joe hopefully will continue his good form. I think we’ll need him. ?.

@Ter161, last time we got Man City in the Champions League we got 2 draws and I believe we have a better team now than we had then, HH.

Real madrid, Liverpool, Dortmund would be a horrible draw.

Frankfurt, sevilla, sporting, in my eyes would be the best we could hope for

As long the the team performs to the best off there ability, regardless the position we finish, I'll be happy, just good to be back were the champions should be.

We did glasgow Green and l do agree we have got a better side but there side and squad are miles better than the last time we played them. Just don't want them to get hammered in these games. Fully agree with u Cmc1988.

City are a better side than they were then also. I just want us to turn up and put in the best performances we can. I don't think even Ange will think we can go head to head attacking football against some of these teams. A lot of them are experienced enough to sit in and hit on the break which we may need to learn to do.

I read this weekend that Ange stated will not change his style of play in the CL and believes with the strength of his first team squad, they can have a go at any opposition ?

I love big Ange baby and his jumper and we’re an absolute joy to watch but that philosophy in the champions league is scary.

I can't disagree.

I love the philosophy, work rate, belief, how Ange has improved players already at the club e. g. Taylor, Ralston and more besides.

However, as much as I think we'll be better equipped this season in Europe, we're going to be lining up beside the big bhoys.

We need to box very clever tactically or a one goal deficit can quickly turn to five as we've seen before - Barca, P. S. G

JFP I am c****g myself he sticks to his mantra against some of these teams. I watched PSG the other night just to see if their front 3 were knitting together and although i can't stand that club and their owners, christ they atre frightening and that was against a team they have previously struggled against. However Abge knows his players so.
