Guys, the rumours about Ben Davies at Liverpool are continuing. I got this from a very strong source. I asked him what he knew of the story and this is his reply.

'Hi Chris. Heard today that Klopp wants him to stay and he’s happy to give it a go for another year, Celtic and Bournemouth interested, but we will see! '

The way I interpret this is that unless Davies himself has a change of heart and pushes for a move then I can't see him going anywhere. HH.

Another average player who’s just going to kick around picking up a big wage. He couldn’t get near the team last season when their two best centre backs possibly 3 were injured all season, they played reserve and youth players ahead of him. Now he thinks he’s going to get in ahead of Virgil van dijk 😂.

On top of that they've signed Konate from Leipzig as well so he won't be anywhere near the first team unless it's a cup game against Shrewsbury or some other pish team.

Did he not pick up a bad injury, the boy was a standout in the championship last year and would play up here with slippers on.

Davies got nowhere near the Liverpool team last season despite the injuries to their CB's, particularly VVD.

If Davies genuinely wants to get competative games of football this coming season then I think he'll need to go to another club, whether that's us or not I'm not fussed.

Mally, he could possibly do well at Celtic. And he’s a left sided centre back but he’s getting nowhere near the Liverpool team, whether he feels he has some kudos as a Liverpool player, it’s not going to happen for him there .

Sorry if I’m late to the party, but I noticed Romain Perruad has signed for Southampton for 11 million. Guy was linked to Celtic when at Paris FC, but transferred to Stade Brest for 1.8 million. Just goes to show there is good value out there, and good money to be made. Stade Brest are now looking to replace him with another player previously linked with Celtic, Milad Mohammidi who has also interested Nottingham Forest.
