67 hail hail have reported what the club says to them howe asked the club for time for Bournemouth season to finish that he would take the job so the club granted him time thinking it would all be done. now howe is saying he can't assemble the backroom staff he wants for up in Scotland and family obligations that's why deal is off. club is advanced talks with another candidate. howe has basically done us over.

If that’s true UI then the Celtic board really aren’t fit for purpose. If there were any indications that a deal for Howe could potentially hit snags we should have hit it on the head and moved onto the next candidate immediately.

Fully agree iceman. How can we put all our eggs in one basket. With all due respect it howe not rafa we were going for. The board have given him far too much say and time in what was happening here. The big fear we all had was what if does happen where do we go. Now any other candidate knows they were second choice at best. This board never seem to learn.

think it hit its snag today mate. suppose to be in talks with favre.
i didn't really want howe anyway mate i says it on the podcast and i says it on here to he didn't really excite me but i would have got behind him. Favre excites me.

Exactly Barry, this should have been provisionally agreed weeks ago between all parties involved even if they weren't able to officially commit to it until the season was over.

Disgraceful and shambolic IF it's true. HH.
