Just been told McCarthy deal not looking likely, looks like he will head to place depending on wilshere deal, it celtic want him they will have to pay all his wages £60k and he also need the operation.

Heard that Jozo failed his medical when signing for us but
PL pushed through the deal as wee had just be ko from champs league and sold VVD so he needed to sign someone to appease the fans, celtic been told by medical staff he will never be fit and celtic have sent a phisio to Italy to help try and push this deal through .

Guys first time poster, just heard someone close to McCarthy that he is wanting a loan move to us due to family/ personal reasons, mite be pish but as I say they are close to him so thought I would post it.

Cheers ed, think he would be a great signing, Armstrong looking better and think will only improve but McCarthy in there to help brown would be a great midfield.

Ed have you heard anything about McCarthy as I heard this today from one of his family but when I said about affording him they said stranger things have happened?
{Ed007's Note - Celtic contacted Everton last week (maybe the week before, I did say on here or maybe it was the live chat) about signing McCarthy in January.}

Been told there has been an enquiry McCarthy wants to come season loan with Celtic paying 20/ 30k wages.
