We can only blame the Officials so much after watching that 2nd half.

Celtic were taught a football lesson.
Last season in Madrid, Celtic had 14 shots and 8 on target but tonight we were destroyed.

Brendan has to take the blame for tonight because his teams are too easy to play against away from home in Europe.

Celtic had 3 Central Defenders on the bench.
We won in Rome 4 years ago today by playing 3 Central defenders.

We should be making it hard for teams by playing a 5-4-1 and then that can change to a 3-5-2 at anytime.

I don't understand his decision to play Kyogo in midfield for the start of the second half because the game was finished at half time and it should've been damage limitations at that stage.

Celtic got off to a bad start with Joe not taking pressure off his defence by catching a schoolboy cross with their 1st corner.

Johnston was lazing with the crucial 2nd goal by not tucking in and getting goal side.
Johnston was also poor for their 3rd goal.

I hope the Celtic Board get destroyed at our AGM in a fortnight because that summer transfer window was a disgrace.

The Celtic Board are embarrassing us with their actions off the pitch and now they have helped embarrass our supporters with results on the pitch.

The Celtic Board announced we had £72.3 Million in the bank until June 30th 2023.
Celtic then made another £10 Million profit in the summer transfer window.

We can make excuses about Officials but tonight was our own faults.
Nobody are blameless tonight.

The Celtic Board for allowing Celtic to regress on the pitch.
Brendan for his silly cavalier tactics away from home in Europe.
And probably the least to blame are the players but they can't be totally blameless after conceding 6 goals going on 10 goals.

It's a big rant which I probably seen coming after the summer fiasco.

We now move on to Sunday and to make sure we go into the International break in a comfortable league position, with another league victory.

It's our last match before the Celtic AGM.

Buzz

Fantastic post.

My only disagreement is the criticism of the board should come first before any criticism of the manager or players both in terms of where we are as a team not to mention their treatment of the Green Brigade.

They need held to account at the AGM none more so than the Lawell twins.

I’m so sad and angry tonight for the players, supporters and the manger ad much ad I didn’t want him back who have been let down massively by those in charge of the club and no Dermot Desmond or Peter bot Mark Lawell apologists will convince me otherwise.

You’re correct JFP.
The Celtic Board are to blame most of all and you predicted this would happen in this seasons CL campaign.

Too many 2m or 3m projects. we paid 6m each for ccv and jota. look how that turned out. speculate and stop bumming about how much cash we have.

I agree with al of that Buzz. It was also a lesson on how to control and influence the ref. On top of that, it was a masterclass in manipulating VAR they focused on probably the only frame in the whole VAR sequence the made that challenge look bad.

You hardly need a crystal ball to predict we'd get pumped in the CL ??.
