Hi Ed, i have just seen about the game for cancer that's coming up in September. Do you have any details on this? Coincidence that i see it the same day that i find out that my cancer is back. Looks like a good time to take the missus to her first ever Celtic game.

Hi Arrowh, just like to say all the best and good luck with your fight against that bastard disease. It destroys lives but there are always good news stories nowadays regarding Cancer. It's not the sentence it used to be. Keep the faith bud, you can get through this again.

6.) 21 Apr 2018 20:29:31

7.) 21 Apr 2018 22:34:26

Good after Bhoys. I have one major concern about our club. I find it difficult to believe that our board and recruitment staff are a completely inept. If I am right in my assessment, that would suggest that there is an agenda that we are excluded from and that, frankly scares and disappoints me.

arrowh

1.) 27 Jan 2024 13:13:55
What is the agenda?

2.) 27 Jan 2024 13:29:32
Arrowh,

Yes doesn’t look good.

Like you I don’t know what they are up to.

Whatever it is, It is not credible or defensible.

They might surprise in the next few days so I am saying no more till window closes.

3.) 27 Jan 2024 13:32:17
Arrow. Can you clear up your word salad and tell us exactly what you mean ?.

4.) 27 Jan 2024 14:04:27
what arrow is trying to say is the board are not stupid they know what wee need to do the resources are there to do it and it won't effect us financially or them and they aren't doing it they seem to be holding back in us kicking on and becoming stronger for some weird reason we don't know about.

5.) 27 Jan 2024 14:29:56
They don't do things right . if our 8 (9 excluding tomoki permanent which I wouldn't have taken that option up) signings was split between 4 good quality first team ready players and 4 prospects it could've been a great transfer window.

6.) 27 Jan 2024 17:43:58
Arrowh i agree. Somethings reeking here.

7.) 27 Jan 2024 17:49:19
The Board and Administration of our club regularly treat the support with contempt and we are way down their list of priorities, although our cash is not and is taken for granted for self-serving purposes. The only time they mention the support is to chastise or ban them.

They also seem to have a lack of respect for the manager's plans and requests or the slightest regard of how far standards have fallen. The gap between Celtic and the rest has been frittered away by poor recruitment and repeatedly not building from a position of strength any European reputation we once had has evaporated under their leadership as the 'custodians' of our unique club.
The only time they are forced to be pro=active is when it's too late.

8.) 27 Jan 2024 20:17:40
Something has been rotten at our club for a long time. Remember Res 12 when they said they needed a smoking gun to go forward, they got a flaming armoury then done a better moonwalk than Michael Jackson!

So we now have a sad punter in Gaza who runs about trying to get himself “on the telly” but now he has become a Hamas actor creating fake news. Even if he is/ was, how does that justify the coverage that it is getting without any mention of the mass propaganda coverage by the West.

arrowh

1.) 11 Nov 2023 10:41:59
The tories and Labour are a disgrace not one can say the word ceasefire. that Bampot stammer even said the power should stay off. the Israelis must have something am guessing money power and that's the be all and end all while innocent people are slaughtered. disgrace but they'll be out today and tomorrow all dignified ?.

2.) 12 Nov 2023 13:45:08
The West refer to the Hamas as Terrorists.
Why does nobody refer to the Zionists as Terrorists, and to Israel as a Terrorist state.

Anybody know how far away Nawrocki is from playing.

arrowh

{Ed007's Note - Rodgers said the other day that Nawrocki has been fit and available for several weeks and that it's Scales form that has limited other players chances - also Nawrocki isn't in our CL squad.}

1.) 07 Nov 2023 20:01:34
Ed, Do you know if Marco Tilio will play for Celtic any time soon.

{Ed007's Note - Tilio played for the B team a few weeks ago and hasn't been heard of since, Glen. I have heard a few murmurs that he has looked miles off in training but I was also told by someone that once he is fit and up to speed we will have a player on our hands.
Take your pick out of that but neither makes me think we will see Tilio in the first team any time in the near future.}

2.) 07 Nov 2023 20:22:19
Thanks Ed.

{Ed007's Note - ?

I caught part of the pre-match discussion on Celtic TV yesterday. One statement that surprised me was when somebody said that JF is still faster in the speed trials than DM. If that is true, why can't he go past his man come match day?

arrowh

1.) 02 Nov 2023 08:58:41
Because like every other winger we have, he keeps cutting inside or passing backwards! Think it’s time Celtic managers had an alternative strategy for occasional use. Can’t help thinking two strikers and a route one policy is needed in some SPL matches. May not be pretty but by law of average, the more time we spend in the opposition box (not circumventing the periphery) the more likely we are to score.

2.) 02 Nov 2023 10:04:17
It’s the first time I’ve seen James in the flesh for a while and he’s finished.

I don’t say that lightly because I’m a big fan.
It’s the first time I can remember Forrest hiding because he just didn’t want the ball.
He would always pass the ball backwards, on the odd occasion he got the ball.

It’s sad and the end of an era for a great servant but Brendan simply can’t play James again because he’s now an empty jersey.

3.) 02 Nov 2023 10:16:19
I felt sorry for Kyogo last night because he doesn’t get any service.
Kyogo was non existent on Saturday and the same again when he played as our striker last night.

Kyogo comes alive with balls into the box especially low at the front post.
He never came close to making those front post runs because our wingers refuse to take the fullbacks on and get to the byline.

Palma won’t go by his man in the outside because he doesn’t want to attempt a cross with his unnatural left foot.
He constantly comes inside and the defender knows exactly what he’s doing.
The St. Mirren left back could’ve read a newspaper in the 1st half when he was marking James Forrest.

It was the same on Saturday, with Kyogo only making ONE pass against Hibs and it was an unsuccessful pass.
Brendan needs to try and find a way to get Kyogo more involved.

4.) 02 Nov 2023 23:38:03
Was lB reading SMSM when Forrest put in a good shot early in second half which ST Mirren were lucky to beat away.

01 Nov 2023 17:35:02
The Green Brigade should cut out all the flares and stick with the Palestinian support. That would call out the board for their hypocrisy and force them to admit what it’s really all about.

arrowh

1.) 01 Nov 2023 18:26:01
I agree mate. As much as I think the use of pyro enhances the spectacle, it's a stick the club use to beat the GB with and the perfect excuse when they want to shut them up at convenient times.

2.) 01 Nov 2023 18:44:56
As much as I like the atmosphere that the GB bring to matches I wish they would stick to supporting the club and not causing Celtic FC to pay fines that are out with there control Fake call or not but the quote from a so called Celtic fan ( YOU WOULDN'T GO TO SOMEONE'S HOME
AND PUT YOUR FEET ON THE TABLE WHEN ASKED NOT TO) Sums it up for me.

{Ed007's Note - What about the other fans that cause us to get fined in Europe, What do you do with them?}

3.) 01 Nov 2023 18:56:04
It’s not the Celtic Board’s home either.
It’s our club.

4.) 01 Nov 2023 19:09:13
I hate the way the GB have become the whipping Bhoys of all and sundry. We have enough to contend with in this country without the club ostracyzing our own support, without giving ammunition to our detractors and the mutant media.

5.) 01 Nov 2023 19:53:21
I am not just blaming the GB for that although looking back in what I said it might look like that. It's any fan But I don't think any one can argue that the GB have in the past caused Celtic fines in the rightfully or wrongly I just wish both can come to an agreement as to the way forward for both parties. Not just the GB but everyone knows for example that flairs inside the ground will get a club into trouble so why do it?

{Ed007's Note - No other club's fans seem to get sp excited about it happening. It's not as if the Club can't afford the fines is it?
And again, it's not just the GB that let off pyro at game.}

An honest question Buzz Bomb, is the average player in the J league smaller than in the European leagues?

Sorry to hear about your health lapse Timalloy. I hope all goes well with the op and you have a speedy recovery. You will be a big miss from the site if you follow through with your plans but we understand your priorities. I have been in hospital since the 29th of December with my cancer now causing serious problems with my nerves around my tailbone. This has currently rendered me unable to walk (hopefully temporarily) . I still visit the site quite regularly to read but very seldom post these days.

Aindoh, the Scales that was dreadful at left back was also dreadful at centre back. Since getting his chance, he has taken it in both hands and there is no reason why his performances as a right back will not have improved. His confidence will be through the roof just now.

I agree with al of that Buzz. It was also a lesson on how to control and influence the ref. On top of that, it was a masterclass in manipulating VAR they focused on probably the only frame in the whole VAR sequence the made that challenge look bad.
