Nice one for a fri night. Only prob is I was picking Lubo and leaving out paulo. Picking Virgil and dropping Johan was just to hard. So I found this a lot easier. Kharine tebilly Virgo du Wei scheidt lassad Fernandez Juninho ljunberg miku bangura. Beat that team? No chance ha ha

Nice one ED. Thought of Boyd but Gemmell got in for me for his attacking ability. Elliot? great shout think I was a bit blinded by the Lions there. Sadly the difference in our ages has come into play, LOL . Great pick though.

{Ed007's Note - I've went back and changed Balde for Stubbs, by far one of the best ball-playing CBs we've had in the modern era and I forgot all about him. I never pick any the Lions in teams, I can't remember any them or players like Dalglish from his time at Celtic.}

Ed that's why I never even started. I'd have been changing all night ha ha. Would've totally forgot bout naka and would've been wanting to change to include him. But one of the first names on my team would've been Stan I thiink best midfielder I've seen in the hoops

@ED007; I seen my first game in 1966 v Aberdeen so the Lions are a bit sketchy for me but the ones I put in I remember clearly. Murdoch, the best passer of a ball I have ever seen. McNeill, who had weaknesses but with Clark was a formidable pairing. Davie Hay because I saw him cementing greig at Celtic Park! Hardest player I ever saw in a Celtic shirt.

Aye, the Viz mag used to be hilarious. My fav after Sid, fat slags and biffa (who still appear) was full mental jacket who had watched too many Vietnam war movies and thought he was in nam and everyone was a Vietnam gook. Other mentionable were big Vern. Never could get into billy the fish though. I also loved to get the uni mag every year ygorra. great jokes

{Ed007's Note - Was Everard Headbutt - Hard As F**k, in Viz or was it Smut? He wore a rip-off of the 'Feed the World' T-shirt saying 'F**k the World' that my mam would never let me use her credit card to buy one. Terry F**kwit, Roger Mellie the man on the telly, and Bustar Gonad and his unfeasibly large testicles are all classics and were funny as hell.
I vaguely remember Channel 4 making some cartoons with Viz characters, some of them were wild, a black bag that solved mysteries on the moors (??) and Billy the Fish was like a bad trip, Roy of the Rovers on acid!}
