I would absolutely love that to be true Ed. Wayne Rooney would be an amazing signing. I don't understand people writing him off. Look at his record for feck sake!

I will say one more thing about the lad that speaks volumes for him. He could have run his mouth off in the papers about how Mourinho (who I cannot stand) has treated him. Instead he has shown a lot of dignity and class. I would love to see him in the hoops. I think he would love the appreciation he gets here and would return to his old self.

Unfortunately finances will rule it out.

We had a long chat on here about him the other week and I said then that he needs a new challenge and that will hopefully spark him into getting his head straight and getting in shape. Well good bye br, thansks for your 1 year of all the great things for our club. I foolishly thought a new 4 year contract and being a genuine fan of the club and moulding a great / possibly greatest celtic team, would keep him here

I'm sure you'll do well at Palace.

Zola, what a great manager he is, I would welcome him to the club.

And my mate Joseph, an insider and an Big Pink Elephant with Yellow Spots, says Moussa, Brown, Jozo, Gordon, Tierney, Roberts will now all join Palace with BR - but my other mate Wully the Flying Blue Nose Pig says we will surely sing Tav, Waggy, Halliday, Barton and Garner.
