Hi,

I was reading this morning that Spurs may be in for Wanyama (I tend to take newspaper stories with a pinch of salt) but it led me to wonder if Celtic would be due any percentage of any fee Southampton may receive for him, anyone know?

Celtic will get atleast 10% on any transfer fee over what Southampton paid for him

I see young Jack Harper has left Real Madrid to sign with Brighton, would he not have been worth a punt? Young, Scottish and has a decent amount of talent, surely something Celtic could have developed further?

{Ed007's Note - Harper's as Scottish as McGeady or James McCarthy are Irish so he probably didn't fancy playing up here to be abused at every away ground for choosing not to play for the country of his birth, remember he's still only a young lad.}

If Jack Harper was anything special, Real would of held onto him and if he was still to be transferred, bigger clubs than Brighton would be chasing him

I have a feeling, if the Finnbogason deal goes ahead, it will be after the Elfsborg game. and pending a psotive result for us.

Or maybe I am just holding onto hope more than anything.

Seems I was wrong:

A statement from UEFA confirmed their rules do not forbid Bangura from playing against Celtic.

"As we, in line with the FIFA regulations on status and transfer of players, consider a loan to be a transfer, we do not have any regulations regarding players not playing against their parent club whilst on loan to another club, .

"If a player is duly registered on the player list of IF Elfsborg then he can play against any team that Elfsborg are drawn against.

"Any agreement between the two clubs that this player wouldn’t play against Celtic should Elfsborg be drawn against them is purely between the clubs.

I presume Mo Bangura will not be eligible to play against us? Shame really, I'd like to see him in action :P

I don't know, I just feel that recently (pretty much after the Juve game) there seems to be an air of complacency around the Celtic players, no real urgency in their play. I can understand it to an extent due to the league being merely a formality but still, It's becoming frustrating to watch, especially when you know thet team can perform so much better.

I'd love to see Madrid, Napoli and Brugge. All great trips for the supporters.
