I read an article in Celtic News about the striker Kvistgaarden being available for between £6m - £10m
then I saw he is out injured with a knee problem
In this Tim's eyes this deal is a NO NO
Firstly because of price
Second because of this knee injury
Third surely for that kind of money, if we spend that, there must be better value strikers out there.

{Ed007's Note - I'd imagine any chance of signing Kvistgaarden ended when Baby Lawwell left. The guy is nowhere near the level we should be looking at imo and the Brondby are chancing their arm if that is the kind of fee they're looking for.}

Is Kvistgaarden really any better than what we have already or even Miovski that we could probably get for around £5m if we throw in a player.
We should really be looking to get better than we already have to give us any slim chance to progress in the CL.

{Ed007's Note - I'd rather keep Kyogo as our main striker than take the punt on a risky project like Kvistgaarden.}

I agree with you ed we need to be looking for better than the danish lad. Id pay the £6m quoted for idah and cash in on kyogo and replace kyogo with a player with a good goalscoring record. Kyogo struggles too much with rogers system.

morgan whittaker from plymouth and mikautadze from ajax.
ED, just wondering have you seen enough from idah to interest you in a permanent move?

{Ed007's Note - From what I've seen of Idah I'd be happy if we signed for maybe £3/4 million. Obviously not as our No.1 striker but I'd have him in the mix.}

I would have no interest in selling Kyogo until at the very least we have signed 2/ 3 players better than Kyogo
I am sure our transfer strategy has up to now has had a flaw . Selling a player of some value to us before we have a replacement already in through the gate and demonstrate his ability . We have decent funds available and can afford to have players with decent ability in squad even if we want to sell.
