On this date 40 years ago,
Celtic beat Rangers 3-0 and the McStay brothers made history, by becoming the 1st brothers to score against Rangers in the same match.

It was a midweek fixture after the New Year match was postponed.

A Celtic fan from England was killed after the match at Partick train station.
A scuffle broke out amongst rival fans and the 21 year old was pushed under the wheels of the oncoming train.
