Out of the league cup, dropping points in the league to teams that sit in, and we can’t find a way to break them down, slow football which has nullified kyogo (our only decent option up top) no atmosphere at the games since the board banned the gb and the bhoys have stood with them, embarrassed in a champions league group most of us couldn’t have picked better, a serious lack of quality where we are still using Forrest, ralston, Johnson, etc. McGregor barely kicking a ball all season apart from the rangers game where they sat off him. If we don’t improve this team in January we are in serious danger of throwing away the league to the Sevconian who have sacked a manager this season ten games in. The club seemed to have dropped back into a malaise akin to C.V. season, the board for once really need to throw caution to the wind and back Roger’s in January . Lawell talks about saving money in case we don’t make the champions league, whilst this season we have an opportunity to go straight into the larger group stages without qualifying and he / they still seem reluctant to back the manager. Since Roger’s came in he spoke about needing quality and physicality especially for Europe but neither has come in, we look toothless in defence and attack at both corners and free kicks, we are pushed off the ball far too easily in Europe . The fans as usual have backed the team and club with season tickets merchandise and European trips and we really need a team to be proud of again. This season as I’ve said previously is in massive danger due to the breakdown of relations between the board and fans.
Seriously worrying times.

Spot on Quinn. We will see in January if BR has control of signings coming and going. I expect about a dozen or more going in the next 2 windows.

While The Board are basking in bank statements, dividends due and mutual backslapping of wealth comparisons, our club has become more of a cash-cow than a football institution.
They are more interested in making examples of supporters factions and meekly bowing to Uefa, The SFA and SPFL with zero backbone, while the quality and class that used to be synonymous with Celtic dies. Qualifying for the CL should be an avenue to attract better players and an opportunity to steadily progress to at least regular European football after Christmas. However we have become a push-over pot four non entity which batters manager and players confidence and hurts the support who unconditionally love Celtic football club to the bone.
Brendan Rodgers is also struggling to find a winning blend with the players at his disposal and our football has lapsed into predictable mediocrity. Even allowing for several injuries and absences that have seriously weakened us, he has failed to get anything near the best of Kyogo with the formation and tactics he favours. However I will say the absence of Maeda and Hatate could be a factor in that and the reduced effectiveness of MOR and CM. The bottom line is the Board, major shareholders and Recruitment team have failed miserably in their duties to the manager. players and supporters, but nothing will be done to change this without extreme reaction and that will occur if we continue to deteriorate.

The business should be run to maximise the funds available to the manager to be invested in playing squad not to give him minimum amount available.

Its as if the board have set aside part of the £70million on the basis that the projects brought in will fail to win the league.

back the manager back the players.

Truest part of your whole statement, "since Rodgers came in "

We always have good times and poor bad times and this season will be no different . The one thing I have never been and will never be is, I have never been embarrassed by my club .
Of course we would all have loved to have got better results in this years Champions League, but I am proud of how they went about their task every game . We bravely took the game to opponents but we had no luck . We may have avoided the super all Star European teams, but make no mistake about it we were playing good experienced teams that knew how to win .
Next season will see obvious improvement, if we have continuity of manager and players . We must hold on to almost all of our players, buy a couple who will vie with current best for our best players next season and maybe 3/ 4 who will be at least regular starters.
