I echo his sentiments and couldn't agree more.

He was the best in that role I've watched at Celtic Park. Never saw him hit a pass more than 10 yards not the fastest and they wee legs had nae mare than a 6 feet stride. But he could read a game and break up another teams play. Legend of a player for Celtic.

What's your opinion on Iwata? I have brought him up a couple of times when it gets mentioned about needing this type of player. A "Wanyama", is that not why we bought him?

I know Brendan plays with the double pivot and that's not Iwatas style so play him as the sole DM, let Cal MaC and Hatate or Oriely push forward.

I think Iwata is brilliant in that role and the only thing I can see missing from his game is his aierial threat that was one of wanyamas biggest strengths?

Sorry for bringing him up again but we buy these types (Iwata, Kwon) but we want something else?

Just wondering lads, need a concrete answer or I'll just bring it up again. Cheers ??.

{Ed007's Note - I would like to see Iwata getting more game time playing in the CDM role, he's certainly never a RB or CB and the signs were good when he did play in midfield but until we see him get a run in the team playing his preferred role it's hard to judge.}
