I’m not sure if he would be out of our price range but id love to see us get kasper schmeicel to replace hart . I know he’s not known for playing out of the back but a top quality solid keeper could be worth his weight in gold, especially for Europe where we are going to be defending a lot more .

I like schmeciel but he's 36, think we should be targeting a younger keeper whose going to be out number 1 for years.

I didn’t realise he was that old to be fair, joe hart done a good job with his experience etc but he’s woeful at pens, but I’d agree we could do with a good young keeper .

A big part of our success was the quick release keep-ball from the back and many 'keepers are not that 'nimble of foot' (even Joe Hart had some scary moments) . I remember BR also liked to build from the back - maybe not as slick - although Dorus DeVries didn't work out and we went with Craig Gordon who as well as being a great shot-stopper, had his mad moments with the ball at his feet.
I agree Seigrist has bided his time and must have picked up a few pointers from Hart?

Siegrist was good at Utd, but would he improve us massively? I personally think ange was bombing him out as he just gave Bain a new contract ( not sure why) there are way too many mistakes in him, but he clearly didn’t fancy him.
As I didn’t realise schmeichal was 36 I’d like us to find a good young keeper as our new no 1, like a young boruc .

Quinn I think Bain got that contract for the European squad as there has to be so many club trained and home grown players within the squad.
