Who would be everyone's top 3 players in the current squad? I was thinking about who I would pick and I am struggling to get it down from 5/ 6 players.

McGregor
Hatate
Jota
Kyogo
CCV.
Taylor.
I don't think I can get it to 3 players.

I would say CCV, McGregor and Jota in that order.

In terms of importance, I would say mcgregor, ccv, and Taylor. Some people sleep on taylor, but it showed in the sevco game as soon as he went off how much we need him, and if I'm being honest, I'm still not 100% sure about bernebei. Taylor, for me, has been the most consistent player in the squad. Ccv is so important in our defence, and we look iffy at times without him. Calmac speaks for himself. Every other player has someone else in their position who can replace them and we wouldn't notice but those 3 at the moment are irreplaceable. You can maybe add Joe Hart to that too.

Agreed very much with what you said the one player I was hoping made the game against them was Taylor and that was proved correct when game changed after he’s injured. Taylor stays on the park we win the game plus Starfelt gets pulled out of position for the penalty because JJ is missing in action. So agreed 100% in terms of importance to the team given we have no natural replacement and for the very same reason add in Joe Hart. If Celtic don’t sign Joe Hart despite the criticism he gets and much of it justified Celtic don’t win the league last season with Bain or Barkas. There was cover for every other signing excellent though our recruitment was.

I think another way to look at this question is Who wouldn't you want to do without for a prolonged period? We've dealt with Cals absence so I'd have to say kyogo and Taylor are 2 players we couldn't do without. Probably CCV is the 3rd.

Cory I couldn’t agree more. But Kyogo is a phenom. 21 goals, and not one a penalty. And Jota is special. I don’t think we have anything to Moan about. We are in a golden age for our club. It’s something special we are all extremely lucky to be witnessing.

{Ed007's Note - Kyogo should have 30+ goals already if he didn't miss so many sitters (howlers?)

A few have mentioned both CCV and Jota.
Celtic done great business with both right to buy deals.
Celtic and our Supporters were also brilliant in persuading both players to commit to our club permanently.
Those type of players along with our manager have taken Celtic to a new and better level.
