I'm planning to do it next summer with the wee one UI. I was going to do it via the Carn Mor Dearg arete though (amazing ridge linking the 2 Munros, with the Ben as the finale) . Return via the tourist route. By the way, I'm not an athlete. I'm a wee overweight hillwalking that plods along!

Hi UI, If enough interest, when are you planning to do Ben Nevis.
Did Nevis a few times for Celtic foundation, but since C.V., I’ve retired from scaffolding and pretty much done heehaw in the last couple of years fitness wise.

Would be interested if end of April onwards next year, give me something to motivate my arse of the couch.

If sooner, not a chance I could climb Nevis, I’ll just be a donator instead.
