My hope is that Ange, just like players, wants to use us as a stepping stone to bigger leagues. If anybody thinks the SPFL is the pinnacle then they need to wake up. So, would Ange come here if he was offered a bag of shrapnel and a bus load of cheap punt duds? Would Howe have even considered us if he was offered the same? No way. Ange would have looked at how piss poor we are and demanded at least a fighting chance. It's now down to recruitment and getting in players instead of utter duds. Hopefully Lawell has got to F and has no input in selection or negotiating. If that's the case we have a chance of good players arriving to replace our pathetic defence, and those leaving. I just can't see Ange, or anyone apart from no hopers, taking a job without the backing needed to turn our team into winners again. He crashes and burns with us, his hopes of managing in a bigger league dies. Down to his player judgement and skills as a coach. Good luck big man, you're going to effin need it.
