Although it's a 'nothing game' for us they are still playing to win the group and I read that if we lose it will be our worst ever run of results in Europe - not to mention another home game without a win? IMO, He has to play Soro, Turnbull and Taylor (for the experience if nothing else) but I doubt he will, also Griff and Klimala need games.

I didn't actually think there, is Connell registered for the Europa Ed? He's looked a tidy player from the little we've seem of him. Would the club see Robertson as the more likely to possibly making the breakthrough to the first team and that's why they loaned him out?

{Ed007's Note - No mate, Laxalt replaced him in the EL squad. I'd have thought Connell would be ahead of Roberston simply because he'd played more games at a higher level than Robertson when he signed.}

That's a shame then hopefully he gets some game time in the league although that'll likely be limited until we pick up form again and start blowing teams away and can bring on players when the games already wrapped up.

{Ed007's Note - Get him in the squad for the trip to Accies on Boxing Day, youngsters are more used to playing on $hitty plastic surfaces as well. It's games like that we should be using to introduce young players to the first team, a strong 8/9 players with 2/3 youngsters should be beating teams like Accies, St. Mirren, Livi and yes even Ross County. Then if/when we're a couple of goals up get another couple of youngsters on for game time and to see the game out.}
