Had a good read at all the posts commenting on Mrs E view of RD's Celtic.

I thought a 2 v 2 draw away was a good result, bearing in mind they had to claw back the lead twice? Salzburg in my opinion appeared to be a much better team than Legia & Maribor ( if only Brown was fit, then results would have been different. )

Lennon Away record as follows

Braga 0 v 3
Utrecht 0 v 4
Lost to Sion but got a reprieve
At Madrid 0 v 2
Rennes 1 v 1
Udinese 1 v 1
Helsinki 2 v 0
Helsingborg 2 v 0
Spartak M 3 v 2
Benfica 1 v 2
Barcelona 1 v 2
Juventus 0 v 2
Cliftonville 3 v 0
Elfsborg 0 v 0
Shaktar K 0 V 2
Milan 0 v 2
Ajax 0 v 1
Barcelona 1 v 6

4 wins 3 draws 11 defeats ( away record only )

RD so far has 2 draws & 1 defeat ( took Lennon 6 away games to get 2 draws and that was after some heavy defeats, and also notice this, we actually look like scoring away from home with RD' s Celtic unlike Lennons first few games and many that followed )

Now as for players fitness, did our loaned players out last year not get heavily criticised by small English league clubs for the level of fitness, I think they did, so let's just see what RD's end of year record is and then we can decide if it was a success or not.

Kev T why turn this into a debate about Lennon and Dalia? Who cares. The issue is the way we are playing. We are shocking. RD has now brought in 7 new players on top of the team from last season minus the ones we all wanted rid of so he retains the nucleus of our main 11 ( replace the keeper but no major loss there). So no excuses from RD anymore. He needs to start delivering some decent football. The quality right now is as poor as I have seen for a very long time. Not really interested on how long Lennon took to win over the supporters. This is dire football and I can't see it changing any time soon.

2.) 21 Sep 2014
Where have you been for the last 3 years then, I gave up my season book after Lennon first season, fed up with the dross of football on show. RD has had 2 months and people like you are slating him.

Lennon style of football was rubbish, his record as manager with no challenges was poor.

RD should not be judged until December or at the end of the year. New philosophy of football takes time to work, we all want fast flowing attacking football, well it takes time, takes even longer when you have players that cannot adapt to it or have the ability to adapt to it.

So if the issue is the way we are playing then your having a laugh if you think we are playing worse when compared to previous years, if anything its consistently the same, not good enough at times, decent at others and the odd exceptional performance.

I have just seen the Celtic team against Motherwell? Confused. Guilletti plays but alongside Stokes? Drops Gordon? Wakaso not even on bench? Kyal on instead of Commons yet looks like we are maybe trying to play a 4/4/2 so Commons back to where he is effective? I really hope we get a result and a performance out of the Bhoys today because I just can't understand where this manager is coming from. Really hope I am eating my words at 4:45pm and we win well but very concerned about a that is going on.

Is this not the manager who told us he would rather play attractive football and lose than win with ugly football? What the hell is going on at Celtic? The only time I have watched attractive football this season was v dundee utd. Then he changes the whole team for the next match. More crazy changes today. Another pish performance. Him and John Collins are so far out of their depth it's embarrassing. I'd have given him more of a chance if he'd been true to his word and had a decent philosophy. All that about Griffiths being the best finisher he'd seen, yet not getting a game. Attacking football yet one up front at home? He's a fake and should be run out the door. And take JC with him. Bring back WGS.

5.) 21 Sep 2014
Its like RD has too many players to pick from, can he not just play his strongest team every week, let the players get used to playing together, in whatever system he is trying to implement, and get them playing consistently well before experimenting with team changes.

6.) 21 Sep 2014
Starting line up baffles me, if players are not injured or fit enough then that's fair enough.

Don't think Stokes should be playing though he ain't good enough

KevT after your rant about my comment maybe after this result and standard of football you might want to reconsider. This was Motherwell, nor Real Madrid. We have only won 2 out of 5 league games. How can you even consider backing this guy? You have too many green tinted glasses. You don't know your a**e from your elbow. This manager who you are giving time to will destroy what little we have left. Just wait till Wed against Hearts who are a better team than Motherwell who are shocking and we can't bear them.

8.) 21 Sep 2014
JM - Am not backing this guy, all I am saying is he is no worse and no better than Lennon. Fed up with all the Green Tinted fans who think Lennon was the big cheese. The end of the season will determine if he is good enough or not.

RD needs to learn, this Celtic team cannot have more than 2 players changed at anyone time, because we simply do not have any quality players.

Like Lennon did, he persists in playing the dregs of our team. Stokes and Ambrose for example should be sold ASAP. MacGregor needs to learn to pass to players instead of thinking he his Messi and god many more are simply average.

For the record, my a£$e is and my elbow do look the same ;-)

21 Sep 2014 17:09:50
Times up for this manger. He's completely outa his depth, and his team selections are baffling, probably should never got the job in the first place.

10.) 21 Sep 2014
C'mon Ronny, Get a grip, if you make so many changes they must win the game and at least give a performance. Not good enough and not looking forward to The Jam Tarts visit on Wed. Not a happy Hoop at all and getting a bit brassed off cumin doon from Inverness for this crap. Loosing my patience with Ronny if I'm being honest. Hail Hail

11.) 21 Sep 2014
Kev it's time people stop comparing ronny and Lenny and focus on ronny as that's 12 competitive games and I would say no one has bought in to his system not players or fans. I never thought he should have got the job in the first place and failure in midweek and I would punt him and go for jackie, Hartley or Mackay(regardless of baggage) rather than persist with a second rate coach.

12.) 21 Sep 2014
21 Sep 2014 18:27:51
KevT why are you even talking about Lennon. He is gone , so why bring it up?Do you think that mentioning Lennon justify anything Dalia does? The facts are 5 games played in a very poor league. We have won 2. Worse than that our play, passing, our lack of creativity is shocking. So if you want to back him, tell us all what you see that the rest of us have missed? Don't just spout out the old he needs time nonesense, we have not moved forward at all. His team selection today was once again appalling and changing at half time just shows that he got if wrong in the first place. I do think your a**e must look exactly like your elbow.

13.) 21 Sep 2014
21 Sep 2014 18:31:45
Aye ronnie made changes but the players should still be good enough to beat motherwell at home yet it's always the manager getting the blame on here. I feel sorry for him tbh if he kept the seem team as thu and we didn't win he would have been slaughtered for not making changes and he gets it cause he did make changes and we didn't win. End of the day he's going 2 be here for at least the season the board won't sack him cause they will look like they made a mistake so back him and give it time look at van gaal at man u new manager getting to know the club trying to build a new team and get instant results yet they are still struggling but the fans aren't calling for his head. Not saying ronnie is the same but i'm comparing the situations that a new foreign manager needs time it's not always instant success

14.) 21 Sep 2014
@10. See if your that pi$$ed off, don't go! You won't be missed!

One rule for one and a different for another is an old saying that couldn't be any truer! Lennon got till December and clearly too many people on this have a short memory regarding this.

Delia has a hell of a mess to clean up (thanks neil!) and deserves time to get ship in order!

I see someone mention ambrose, reality of this situation is minute lustig and matthews are back- he is gone.

15.) 21 Sep 2014
21 Sep 2014 19:10:03
DN30,(Lennon hater) suprised it took u so long 2 join.

16.) 21 Sep 2014
Ok Johnnymac - clearly you're not very clever.

Go back to the first post I was referring to in my initial post. You know the one that refers to the post from Mrs E, where its stated things have got worse since Lennon ( after saying Lennon was slated )

I posted all the away results from Lennon, seeing as Mrs E was not happy with a good 2 v 2 draw against Salzburg. You will then notice that I have not stated anywhere in my posts that its Lennon vs Deila ( not Daila as you spell it ) All I have done is clearly show that the results are not worse when compared to Lennon ( before you rant about domestic results, the posts refers to European results.

So, I say to myself, Johnnymac must have the memory of a goldfish, I would say google it and find out how long that is . but by the time the answer pops up, you will have forgotten what the question was.

17.) 21 Sep 2014
@15 - How is DN30 a Lennon hater? Is it because he states the obvious limitations on Lennon's managerial career with Celtic.

You know the constant European embarrassment's, the constant domestic embarrassment's, the severe lack of tactical knowledge.

Yeah RD so far has the same limitations

18.) 21 Sep 2014
Dn30 you're right neil did get too long with poor cup record but he earned loyalty for being a ni catholic and celtic player and supporter. I believe he should have left 12 months before he did but ronny is his own man and should be judged on his actions not Lennons. I'm not expecting ronny to overhaul and revolutionise celtic in 3 months but few would argue we should not be going backwards so quickly this season. His tactics are poor as is his team selections regularly and too many players look disinterested. If we lose to hearts I would like him replaced as persisting would be like 2 wrongs which isn't right.

19.) 21 Sep 2014
DaBhoyBhoy can you not think for yourself and use your own patter? noted how you have not challenged any of the points I have made, cause you know i'm right and do not have any arguement to suggest otherwise

20.) 21 Sep 2014
21 Sep 2014 20:55:23
KevT look at the posts. You are welcome to RD and his tactics. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. In one post you say he is entitled to some time. In another he us no worse than Lennon ( but only in Europe according to you) in another post you say you are not backing him? Make your mind up you numpty.

21.) 21 Sep 2014
21 Sep 2014 21:01:13
Kev,on managerial limitations, lennons record in all competitions is 69 per cent, WGS is 67,MON is 75, while I was a fan of lennons his cup record is basically shite. But it was his first job and the stats didn't lie.

22.) 21 Sep 2014
My point, which may have got lost along the way, is how could we slag off NL but find this Sh*t acceptable?Ronny is displaying all the signs of being worse that Lennon.

Rebuilding to beat Dundee and compete in a crap Scottish League - give me a break. If some of us were Lennon apologists then I can now see the Ronny apologists.

And Ronny, whatever you took out the drinks machine in the canteen gonnae put it back.

When Lennon did take over from Mowbray, the team had just been beaten 4-0 by St Mirren - they did not get beat on the league again that season under Lennon that's why he got time. Ronny will get more time and I think every supporter wants him to succeed but he's struggling and the League is much weaker than when Lennon took over.

DN you were vocal about Lennon which is fair enough, goes without saying you are entitled to be and have your opinion. But you wanted rid of him for better than this surely?

Hearts midweek - confident?

23.) 21 Sep 2014
21 Sep 2014 21:31:35
Dn30, I don't need no patter,if I thought u had a valid point I would challenge it,from I've joined u constantly have a go @ lennon whenever the opportunity arises,I get it, u didn't rate him at al,but look at the stats above,case closed.

24.) 21 Sep 2014
I agree with you Mrs E, I can't remember the team being as consistently bad, for want of a better word, .I wish I was joking, but Ronnie is starting to remind me of 'superally' at the rangers, think they must have read the same coaching manual.

25.) 21 Sep 2014
Dabhoy I have looked at all stats both domestically and european. Yes I have a go at lennon cause I have always felt it was far too big a job for someone with no managerial experience and this has been proved in his tenure. I know people on this think I hate him, I don't. I do think he would of been more successful if he served an apprenticeship before being manager of celtic. He was in at the deep end and I do appreciate his passion to manage celtic but he was not ready.

Only reason I mentioned him was the fact that delia is just in door trying to correct problems left by lennon.

Come December if i'm wrong I will be first to hold hand up

26.) 22 Sep 2014
Can you elaborate on the problems left by lennon?, and extrapolate them into excuses for how the team isa playing now.

27.) 22 Sep 2014
22 Sep 2014 08:35:34
DN30, you can't blame Lennon for this load of rubbish served up by RD. I am no great fan of Lennon and I agree he should have done better , however he left us a team that won the league by 29 points, totalled 99 points in the league. So why have we gone so far backwards? It's not Kennon it's RD. Wait for Hearts on Wed. He will be back to 1 up front, no shape, players unsure what to do. We may not win the title this season so another year put of CL. We can't afford RD. He is an expensive manager! He cost us around £15 mill a year. RD out.

28.) 22 Sep 2014
DN30, the reason I am not happy is that we are making the same mistakes with the Team Shape week in week out. We need to win the game first with our best team on the field at the start of play. When we are ahead then we can bring in some of the other squad members to see how they perform. Too little too late. Give Lennon his due, he new how to win the league with ease, granted the football at times was rotten but the result was usually guaranteed. Hail Hail

29.) 22 Sep 2014
@26. Easy mate. Signings such as ambrose and inability to identify a striker.

@johnnymac and tamtimtic rome wasnt built in a day. RD knows squad is not upto task, that's why he rested so many players to avoid another morton cup distater againist hearts.

I know team is playing pi$h, just think he should be given till december to get act together.

Getting a point against salzburg away, our hardest game can't be overlooked.

I know each persons opinion on this may not be the same, but we all have celtic best interests at heart

30.) 22 Sep 2014
Dn30 what makes you sure Lennon signed ambrose and others going by our signings this season. ronny admits to not having seen most of them?so perhaps until we know for sure who signed who we shouldn't judge on signings

31.) 22 Sep 2014
Fair point Jim. If that is the case then who is actually manager of celtic?

32.) 22 Sep 2014
I would suggest john park is transfer coordinator and ronny is head coach
